This is a unique tour giving you the opportunity to discover the western part of Uzbekistan, which still remains a mystery to many people. Explore Sudochie Lake by jeep and see many breeding waterbird species including rare and disappearing species and the Aral Sea to Moynak boat cemetery and an old port south of the Aral Sea.

Out in the desert in the vicinity of Uzbekistan’s shrinking Aral Sea is the incredible Savitsky Art Museum, considered by some to be one of the world’s greatest museums.

This tour also includes amazing dinner around a campfire, a night in a tent near the Aral Sea and visit the Tower of Silence, "Chilpik Kala" believed to be the earliest example of the traditional funerary practice.  Finish the tour with a visit to Khiva, Bukhara, and Samarkand - each an incredible maze of exotic architecture and gorgeous decorative art, as well as treasured UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

Arrive in Tashkent on a morning flight. Your guide will pick you up at the International Airport of Tashkent and accompany you to the hotel for an early check-in.



Take some free time to settle. Afterward, go on a sightseeing tour of Tashkent in the old part of the city.



Visit the stunning Khazret-Imam Architectural complex (Mausoleum of imam Kaffal al-Shashi, Barak-khan Madrassah, Tellya Sheikh Madrassah, Mui-Mubarak Madrassah, and the Juma Mosque. Also visit the Imam Ismail al-Bukhari Islamic Institute, the Kukeldash Medressa, Chorsu Bazaar and the Museum of Applied Arts.

Tashkent - Nukus - Sudochie Lake  

Fly To Nukus And Head To The Aral Sea

Have an early breakfast at the hotel and then transfer to the local airport. Catch your flight bound for Nukus.



Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel and get ready to set off to the Aral Sea by jeep. On the way, stop in Kungrad, the place where many centuries ago caravans stayed for a rest. Today you can only see abandoned villages, ruins of buildings and the lighthouse.



Arrive in lake Sudochie. While the crew prepares the picnic, you can take beautiful pictures of surroundings and have a rest. Continuе driving, arriving at the coast of the Aral Sea in the late afternoon. Set up camp, and have dinner around the campfire.

Visit Muynak City

Have breakfast in the tents. Drive to Muynak city via beautiful red canyons where it's possible to take unusual pictures of the Martian-looking landscape.



Arrive in Muynak city, once the richest city in the delta of Amu-darya and considered the gateway to Uzbekistan from the sea. Nowadays, there's only a cemetery of dead sea and wrecks.



You'll also visit the City Museum of History of Muynak and the Aral Sea. Drive back to Nukus and stay there overnight.

See The Ancient Chilpik Dakhma And Drive To Khiva

Visit the Museum of Art, named after I.V. Savitsky. It hosts the world's second the largest collection of Russian avant-garde art and one of the largest collections of applied art items of Central Asia.



The ancient Chilpik dakhma, a 49-foot-tall circular structure situated on top of a mound of sand rising out of the desert has become a popular symbol in Karakalpakstan, and it's even found on its coat of arms.



This dakhma is particularly significant as local legend suggests the region around it is where Zarathushtra, the founder of Zoroastrianism, began to compose the religion’s ancient scriptures, the Avesta. Drive to Khiva and check into your hotel on arrival.

Go on a sightseeing tour of the old part of Khiva – Ichan Kala known as “Inner Town”.



Ichan Kala is the biggest open air museum in Central Asia and it consists of the following architectural monuments: Ata Darbaza, Kunya Ark, Muhammad RakhimKhan Madrassa, Muhammad Aminkhan Madrassa, Kalta Minor Minaret, Jome Mosque and Minaret, Islam Khodja Madrassa, Said Alauddin Mausoleum, Pahlavan Mahmud Mausoleum, the last Khiva Khan Allak ulikhan’s Madrassa and Tosh Hovli Palace, where was the harem with 40 concubines, Caravanserai and Tim Allakulikhan.



Afterward, take some free time to enjoy Khiva on your own.

Head To Stunning Bukhara

Have breakfast at your hotel. Then, transfer to Bukhara via the Kizil Kum Desert (450 km).



On the way, stop to see Amudarya River. Arrive in Bukhara in the afternoon and check into your hotel.

Explore The Impressive Old City Of Bukhara

After breakfast, go on a guided sightseeing tour of the Old City of Bukhara, including visits to the Mausoleum of Samanids, Bolo Hauz Mosque, and the Ark Fortress, Poi Kalon Square with its Kalon Minaret and Mosque, and the Mir Arab Madrassah.



There are also bazaars dating from the 16th century. They were the centers for the trade of silk, jewelry and for money exchange. Today, one can find true bargains and purchase different souvenirs. Continue touring this historical city around Ulugbek and Abdulazizkhan Madrassahs and a visit the Sayfuddin Caravanserai, which is the Center of Handicraft Development of Bukhara.



Finally, head to Lyabi Hauz, the center of old Bukhara, which is an architectural complex of the 17th century that includes many interesting monuments. Enjoy a dinner with a folk show in Nadir Divanbegi Madrassa.

Make Your Way To Alluring Samarkand

Transfer to Samarkand and check into your hotel on arrival. The history of Samarkand traces back to about 2750 years and it has witnessed many upheavals over time.
