Welcome To Tashkent!
Upon your arrival in Tashkent, your guide will pick you up at the International Airport of Tashkent and accompany you to the hotel.
After breakfast at the hotel, you can leave for a sightseeing tour of Tashkent with visits to the old part of the city. These include the architectural complex “Khazret-Imam” (Mausoleum of imam Kaffal al-Shashi, Barak-khan Madrassah, Tellya Sheikh Madrassah, Mui-Mubarak Madrassah, Juma Mosque, Imam Ismail al-Bukhari Islamic Institute), Kukeldash Medressa, bazaar Chorsu and the Museum of Applied Arts.
Travel To Magical Khiva
Make your way to the local airport.
Later, take a flight to Urgench. Upon arrival at Urgench Airport, transfer to your hotel in Khiva.
You will be embarking on a sightseeing tour in the old part of Khiva, Ichan Kala, which is also known as the “Inner town”. Ichan Kala is the biggest open-air museum in Central Asia and consists of the following architectural monuments: Ata Darbaza, Kunya Ark, Muhammad Rakhim-Khan Madrassa, Muhammad Aminkhan Madrassa, Kalta Minor Minaret, Jome Mosque and Minaret, and the Islam Khodja Madrassa.
Some other monuments also include the Said Alauddin Mausoleum, Pahlavan Mahmud Mausoleum, the last Khiva Khan Allak ulikhan’s Madrassa and Tosh Hovli Palace, Caravanserai.
Drive To Scenic Bukhara
In the morning depart from Khiva and drive to Bukhara.
The Great Silk Road once routed through Bukhara and Khiva ran through the Kyzylkum Desert, as the present road does nowadays. Stop en route to enjoy views of Amu Darya River and the desert.
Arrive in Bukhara in the afternoon, then check in to the hotel.
Go Sightseeing In Bukhara
Meet your guide in the lobby of your hotel.
Enjoy a sightseeing tour with a guide in the Old City of Bukhara. You will visit the Mausoleum of Samanids, Bolo Hauz Mosque and the Ark Fortress.
Other sites include the Poi Kalon Square with Kalon Minaret and Mosque and Mir Arab Madrassah.
There are three trading domed bazaars preserved dating back to the 16th century.
You will also go on an excursion around Ulugbek and Abdulazizkhan Madrassahs, Abdullakhan’s Tim and enjoy a visit to the Caravanserai Sayfuddin which is the Center of Handicraft Development of Bukhara.
Lyabi Hauz , the center of old Bukhara, is an architectural complex of the 17th century that includes Nadir Divanbegi Madrassah and Khanaqa, as well as the monument to the famous historical comedian character Khodja Nasreddin.
Later, enjoy a dinner with a folk show at Nadir Divanbegi Madrassa.
Travel To Ancient Shakhrisabz
After breakfast, set off to Samarkand through Shahrisabz city.
Take a short city tour around the historical part of Shahrisabz.
This includes the Mausoleum of Jakhongir in Dor-us Saodat Memorial Complex, the remains of Ak-Saray Palace, Dor-ut Tilavat Ensemble with the Kok-Gumbaz Mosque and the burial vault of Tamerlane’s father.
Continue driving to Samarkand.
Arrive there in the afternoon and check into your hotel.
Explore Historical Samarkand
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel.
The history of Samarkand is about 2,750 years old and has witnessed many upheavals during the times of Alexander the Great, the Arabic Conquest, Genghis-Khan Conquest and lastly Tamerlane's.
Hence, the culture of Samarkand was developed and mixed together with the Iranian, Indian, Mongolian and a bit of the Western and Eastern cultures.
You will embark on a sightseeing tour of Samarkand and you will be visiting Registan Square (a heart of the city), Bibi Hanum Mosque, Orient Bazaar Siyab, and the Shahi Zinda Necropolis.
Travel Back To Tashkent
Today you will embark on a sightseeing tour of Samarkand. You will be visiting Ulugbek’s Observatory and the Mausoleum of Khodja Doniyor.
You can also enjoy some free time for shopping before your transfer to the railway station of Samarkand.
Depart for Tashkent on the high-speed train “Afrosiab”. Once you reach Tashkent, you will be transferred to your hotel.
