Welcome To Tashkent!

You will be welcomed by your driver at Tashkent International Airport. Meet your local guide at the hotel and start to explore Tashkent!

First, visit the complex of Khast-i-Imam, the religious center of Tashkent, which includes several constructions built from the 16th to 19th centuries. Then, explore the beautiful Kukaldash Madrasa and Juma Mosque.

In the afternoon, continue with a visit  to the Museum of Applied Art of Tashkent, the ancient palace of Russian diplomat Alexander Polovtsev that has been transformed into the museum. Explore the beautiful and unusual underground stations of Tashkent, after exploring one of the biggest bazaars of Uzbekistan, Chorsu.

Day 1

Tashkent - Urgench - Khiva  

Immerse Yourself In Ancient Khiva

Khiva is a marvelous city, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Juma Mosque is a piece of remarkable architecture. Kunya Ark – the 'ancient fortress', established in 1686 - 1688 by Arang-Khan is worth a visit, as are the Madrasa of Muhammad-Amin-Khan and the Tash-Kauli Palace.

Explore other exceptional monuments like the Mausoleum of Pahlavan Mahmud, the Mausoleum of Sayid All-Uddin, and the Medresa of Islam-Khodja with its elegant minaret, which is the highest in Khiva at 45 m.

The Medresa of Alla-Kuli, built in 1835 in a space near the east gate of the inner town, is a celebrated example of harmonious blending into an ancient urban fabric.

Day 2

Khiva - Bukhara  

Drive Through The Red Sands To Bukhara

Early in the morning, drive to Bukhara after having a hearty breakfast. Pass by red sands of the desert Kizil-Kum. Make a rest stop en route and explore the river of Amu Darya – the blue serpent of the desert.

Have lunch on the way. In the afternoon, make another rest stop en route near Gazli. Arrive in the late afternoon and check into the hotel.

Spend the rest of the day as you wish.

Day 3


Explore Bukhara's Architectural Marvels

Today, visit the architectural complex Poi-Kalyan, which is situated at the foot of the minaret Kalyan. It consists of three constructions built in the 12th-16th centuries: the madrasa, the Miri-Arab mosque, and the Kalyan minaret.

The Abdulaziz-Khan Madrasa marks the outstanding progress of medieval Central Asian architecture and is one of the oldest architectural monuments where you will find the remains of a Buddhist monastery and a Zoroastrian Temple in Bukhara.

In the afternoon, continue to explore other monuments like Laybi-Hauz  – the largest artificial reservoir of medieval Bukhara. Other spots worth visiting are the mausoleum of Ismail Samani and one of the most ancient monuments of the city, the mausoleum Chashma Ayub.

Day 4

Bukhara - Samarkand  

Journey To Beautiful Samarkand

Meet your local guide in the morning and visit other monuments situated in the countryside of Bukhara.

The mosque Tchor Minor hidden in the alleys of the ancient district of the city is a bright example of architecture and Sitora-i-Mokhi Khossa, the summer residence of Bukhara emirs is worth a visit.

After the morning excursion, you will have lunch and then drive to Samarkand. Visit the ancient caravanserai Rabat-a Malik en route. Arrive at Samarkand, and spend the rest of the day as you wish.

Day 5


Traverse The Past In Samarkand

Today, visit the famous Registan square surrounded by three madrasas: the Ulugbek madrasa, the Sher-Dor madrasa and Tillya Kori with its golden mosque. Enter the mausoleum of Gur-Amir, the family crypt of the great dynasty of Tamerlane, with a finely ribbed dome which is decorated with papier-mâché inside.

After lunch, you will visit the other wonders of the city: Bibi Khanum Mosque –the best architects and artisans of Khorossan, Azerbaijan, Persia, and India were involved in the construction of the largest mosque in Central Asia.

Also, visit the Siyab Bazaar – the most ancient and biggest market in Samarkand as well as the Shakhi-Zinda ensemble. It has more than 20 buildings and each mausoleum has its own style of decoration and great fantasy of skillful artisans.

Day 6

Samarkand - Tashkent  

Explore The Observatory Of Ulugbek

After breakfast, meet your guide at your hotel and visit the mausoleum of Hodja Daniyar.

It is located near the healing spring and attracts crowds of tourists every day. Some believe that Daniel was a biblical prophet, while others associate him with fellow-soldier Kusam ibn Abbas.

Explore the Observatory of Ulugbek, the first observatory in Central Asia, built in the 14th century. After lunch, begin your journey to Tashkent.

Day 7

Tashkent - Shymkent  

Make The Scenic Drive To Shymkent

This morning, you will cross the Uzbek-Kazak border and drive to Shymkent. Make your transfer to the hotel and check in!

The rest of the day is for you to relax and spend at your leisure.

Day 8

Otrar - Turkestan - Shymkent  

Tour Amazing Turkestan

Meet your local guide at your hotel in the morning and depart for Otrar settlement. Go sightseeing at Arystan-Bab Mausoleum, an archaeological site of the ancient settlement of Otrar.

After lunch, travel to Turkestan. Enjoy sightseeing at the "Azret-Sultan" historical and architectural complex, view the Mausoleum of Khoja Ahmed Yasawi as well as the necropolis, a fragment of the fortress wall, the citadel with gates, the hammam, and the Hilvet underground mosque.

After your tour in Turkestan, drive back to Shymkent.

Day 9

Shymkent - Almaty  

Arrive In Stunning Almaty

After breakfast, travel to the airport and take a domestic flight to Almaty city. On landing, make your way to the hotel.

Day 10

Almaty - Charyn - Almaty  

Admire The Grand Charyn Canyon

Charyn Canyon is one of the unique natural monuments of Kazakhstan. The canyon is about 12 million years old and is composed of vertical cliffs created by wind, sun and rain.

You will hear a lot about the history and nature of the region, about Kazakh people, their life and traditions, as well as have a lunch in a local cafe on the way there. And, as soon as you see Charyn Canyon, you will definitely be impressed with the beauty and splendor of the canyon.

You can admire the grand panorama and then have a walk through the maze of the Castles Valley with its inaccessible walls overhanging you.
