How will it feel to spend time with the world’s great primates: mountain gorillas and chimpanzees? You'll be doing this at the Bwindi National Park and Kibale National Park.
Enjoy the opportunity to spend four hours with mountain gorillas during the Mountain Gorilla Habituation Experience (compared to one hour while gorilla trekking) and spend a whole day with chimpanzees in what our Chimpanzee Habituation Experience (as compared to one hour while on the chimp trekking).

Welcome to Uganda!
Arrive in Uganda following the flight from your respective country of origin. You'll land at Entebbe International Airport, the main gateway to Uganda, where you will be met by a representative of your booked hotel.
The amazing weather and brightening atmosphere on the shores of Lake Victoria give you a remarkable first impression of Uganda.
Transfer to your hotel for your overnight stay.
Travel to Kibale Forest National Park
Start the safari with your transfer to Kibale Forest National Park in the morning, with the aim to have lunch in Fort Portal.
Several stops in the countryside will let you stretch your legs in villages and around tea plantations along the drive, as we check in the late evening.
Spend the night in a beautiful area, close to a crater lake bordering Kibale Forest.
Take the Chimp Habituation Experience
After an early morning breakfast you will be transferred to Kibale National Park for a briefing about the dos and don’ts while with a community or party of chimpanzees.
After the briefing, you will start your trek in the forest with chances of seeing 11 other primates in the forest.
You'll spend the whole day in the forest with guides and researchers during your chimp habituation experience.
Return to the lodge for your dinner and overnight stay.
See Tree-Climbing Lions at Ishasha
Early in the morning after breakfast, drive to Bwindi via the Ishasha sector in Queen Elizabeth National Park, where you will view many tree-climbing lions.
This is the only place in Africa where you will see tree-climbing lions. You will also spot many other animals, including monkeys, birds, kobs, antelopes etc.
Arrive at the park in the afternoon and enjoy a nature walk, on which you will see many animals, including monkeys, elephants, and birds.
Mountain Gorilla Habituation Experience in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Wake up early in the morning and head to the park headquarters for a briefing about the dos and don’ts while with mountain gorillas on your habituation experience.
After the briefing, you will start your trek into the forest guided by researchers and guides.
During your trek, you may encounter several birds, other animals and primates in the forest, and once you have found the gorillas you will spend four hours with them. Then and return to the lodge for the night.
You will have an opportunity to listen and observe researchers doing their work of habituating gorillas and, if possible, you will be called upon to participate by collecting samples, naming of group members, making calls and so much more.
Memorial Visit and Goodbye, Uganda!
After breakfast, drive to Kigali and visit the Genocide Memorial Center.
The Kigali Genocide Memorial is the final resting place for more than 250,000 victims of the genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda.
It honors the memory of the more than one million Rwandans killed in 1994 through education and peace-building.
Later, transfer to Kigali Airport making sure you check in 3 hours before your departure time.
