You will be met by a representative from your hotel who will offer you a courteous welcome.
The amazing weather and brightening atmosphere on the shores of Lake Victoria will give you a remarkable first impression of Uganda.
Transfer to your hotel for your overnight stay.
Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park and Go Rhino Tracking En Route
Early in the morning after breakfast you will be picked up from your hotel by our tour guide for a transfer to Murchison Falls National Park.
You will branch off at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary in Nakasongola to track the rhinos and later continue to Murchison Falls.
Arrive in Murchison Falls and visit the top of the falls for a remarkable sight of the Nile crushing through a narrow 7m-wide gorge before plunging 43m deep into the Devil’s Cauldron.
You will then drive to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at your booked lodge.
Go on a Game Drive and a Launch Cruise
After a hearty breakfast, you will embark on an early morning game drive where you are likely to spot animals like lions, buffaloes, waterbuck, Jackson’s hartebeest, Rothschild’s giraffe, and oribi, among others.
Return for lunch, which will be followed by a breathtaking launch cruise for a wide view of hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes, several water birds such as the shoebill stork, the most sought after bird in Africa.
Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at your booked lodge.
Transfer to Kibale National Park
After an early breakfast, you will depart for Kibale National Park.
The drive goes through the Albertan Escarpment of the western arm of the East African Rift Valley with dramatic views of Lake Albert, traditional homesteads and scenic views of the "mountains of the moon."
Reach Fort Portal in the evening for dinner and overnight stay at your lodge.
Go Chimpanzee Trekking and Tour the Bigodi Wetland Swamp
Early in the morning after taking breakfast you will go to the park headquarters, where you will be briefed about chimpanzee trekking.
These primates are the closest relatives to the human being and they share 98% of their DNA with ours.
There are also many other primate species, which will be seen along with the chimpanzees, these include the golden monkeys, black and white colobus monkeys, grey checked mangabey, red tailed monkeys, the bush babies, and many bird species.
Later in the afternoon you will visit the Bigodi swamp, which is also good for watching primates and birds.
It’s mainly maintained by the local people and they earn a living from there.
Enjoy many bird species here including; the great blue turuco. Other wildlife to view here include baboons, mongoose, otters, bush pigs as well as bush bucks.
Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, situated at the bottom of Mountain Rwenzori, which is among the finest mountain ranges in the world.
On your way to the park you might see a number of wild animals plus birds, since this park hosts approximately 100 species of mammals and an outstanding 606 species of birds.
Go on a Game Drive and Boat cruise in Queen Elizabeth National Park
After a cup of coffee, begin the day with a game drive in the Kasenyi plains that may lead you to see bush buck, Uganda Kob, topi, Defassa waterbuck, and Cape buffaloes, lions, elephants, and more.
You will later return to the lodge for a late breakfast and relax as you wait for lunch.
In the afternoon, you will enjoy a boat ride along the Kazinga Channel for amazing views of yawning hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes, various bird species such as red chest, papyrus Gonolek, pink backed pelicans, malachite kingfishers, yellow crown, water thick-knee, yellow-billed stork, and shoe bill stork, among others.
Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at your booked lodge.
Go on an Early Morning Game Drive and Transfer to Bwindi Forest
Have a very early breakfast and go for an early morning game drive through the park.
Possible encounters include lions, buffaloes, kobs, elephants, giraffes, hyenas, warthogs, and others.
Proceed towards Ishasha River south of the park, a popular sight with tree climbing lions.
Reach Bwindi forest by the evening and check into your choice of accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.
Go Gorilla Trekking and Enjoy a Community Walk
Following breakfast, head to the park headquarters with packed lunch for a vital briefing prior to trekking in search of gorillas in the thick impenetrable forest.
You get to spend an hour with the gorillas after having trekked for about 2-8 hours.
If you have time and still feel strong, you can take a community walk to visit the local Batwa community.
Check out the curio shops, children’s school, and get the chance to explore more about their unique culture.
Have dinner and stay at your chosen lodge for the night.
Transfer to Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda
After enjoying that wonderful experience of the gorillas in Bwindi, proceed to one more prime destination for gorillas in Rwanda: Parc National des Volcans (PNV).
PNV is part of the Virunga Mountains, which has different peaks like Bisoke, Karisimbi, Muhabura, Sabinyo.
Marvel at this beautiful mountainous country, also called “a land of a thousand hills.”
Arrive in the evening for dinner and overnight stay at your booked lodge.
Go Golden Monkey Trekking and Transfer to Lake Kivu
After your morning wake-up call and breakfast, transfer and report to the park headquarters for Golden monkey trekking formalities and briefing.
On your return, after lunch, transfer to Lake Kivu and relax at the beach in the afternoon.
Have dinner and stay at your booked lodge overnight.
Go For a Boat Ride and Visit a Hot Spring
In the morning right after breakfast, go for a boat ride on Lake Kivu and also visit the hot spring.
Return to the hotel for lunch and then in the afternoon transfer to Kigali.
Visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial Center. The Center's exhibitions tell the story of the Rwandan genocide of 1994, during which approximately one million people were murdered.
This genocide has come to be known as one of the greatest atrocities the world has ever seen.
Transfer to Akagera National Park from Kigali
After a relaxed breakfast from your hotel in Kigali, head to Akagera National Park.
Akagera National Park covers 2500-square-kilometers of savannah, west of the Kagera River, in the northeast of Rwanda.
The park has a variety of wildlife and is a habitat for over 500 different species of birds.
Herds of elephant and buffalo emerge from the woodland to drink at the lakes, while you might stumble across a leopard, a spotted hyena or even a lion.
Giraffe and zebra haunt the savannah, and more than a dozen types of antelope inhabit the park.
Have lunch at your expense and in the afternoon, you will go for a long game drive in the national park.
Stay at your booked lodge, where you will have a nice hot meal in the evening.
Go on a Game Drive and Boat Ride in Akagera
In the morning after breakfast you will go for a game drive in the park in search for wildlife.
During the game drive through the Savannah grassland of Akagera National Park you should watch out for animals like lions, leopards, elephants, antelopes, and many more.
After the game drive you will have lunch.
Later in the afternoon, go for a boat ride on the Akagera River in search for water-loving animals like the hippos, and crocodiles.
Return to your lodge for dinner.
