This 10-day Kenya & Uganda Primates & Wildlife combined tour takes you to the magnificent rainforest jungle of Kibale Forest National Park to track the elusive and playful chimpanzees and various monkey species.
In the ”Pearl of Africa” countryside, you get onto the beaten path into Queen Elizabeth National Park, known for its diversity of big game wildlife, birdlife and picturesque geographical features, plus the amazing tree climbing lions of the Ishasha Sector.
Afterward, you will have an encounter with the mountain gorillas in the Bwindi impenetrable forest and an opportunity to hike volcanoes and visit the Equator before making that flight from Entebbe to Jomo Kenyata Airport and drive the beautiful savannah-covered Masai Mara in Kenya.

Welcome to Entebbe!
Arrive at Entebbe International Airport and transfer to the hotel for your overnight stay.
Entebbe is a small town located on the shores of Lake Victoria, the largest freshwater lake in Africa. Entebbe is the closest town to Entebbe International Airport, which is the main gateway to Uganda.
Entebbe town is an ideal town to spend your
first night in Uganda. It is the best place to spend the first few nights of your stay in order to acclimatize.Entebbe has a more relaxed atmosphere than Kampala, made up of Entebbe Town and the suburb of Kítoro, where you will find some bars, markets, and shops.
Drive to Fort Portal
After breakfast, drive to Fort PortaI, the capital town of Tooro Kingdom, which lies on the shadow of Rwenzori Mountains, the biggest mountain range in Africa.
Have lunch en route.
You can spend the afternoon at your leisure.
Make Your Way to Incredible Kibale National Park
After breakfast, get ready for today's activity, the nature walk in Kibale National Park for experiencing the tropical rainforest, birding and especially to encounter the chimpanzees in their natural environment. The Kibale National Park, with its 766 sq km of tropical
rainforest contains the highest primate density in the world. Among the specíes you can see are the black and white colobus, red-tailed monkey, andvelvet monkey.
Moreover, 325 species of birds are recorded.
In the afternoon, proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park, which lies between Lake George on the East, and Lake Edward on the West, plus the Rwenzori Mountains on the North.
Go for a game drive as you enter the park and stay there overnight.
Go on a Stunning Boat Safari On Kazinga Channel
After a cup of coffee, depart at 6.30 am for a game drive along the tracks of the national park in the Northern side towards Lake George and Kasenyi village. You might see lions, elephants, buffaloes, spotted hyenas, waterbucks, Ugandan kobs, and perhaps the leopard, though shy and rare. Reach up to the Baboon Cliffs and the splendid crater lakes region.
Have lunch and in the afternoon go on the most exciting boat safari from the Mweya Peninsula along the Kazinga Channel, one of the most popular sites in Uganda for its concentration of wildlife, birdlife, and opportunities for good photographs.
Moreover, you will see plenty of hippos, buffaloes, and elephants drinking from the channel. In the evening, continue your journey to the southern pan of the park in the Ishasha Sector, a vast savannah between the Ishasha and Ntungwe Rivers. Have dinner and stay there overnight.
Drive to the Fascinating Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After breakfast, go for a morning game drive in Ishasha, where you might have a chance to see the "tree climbing lions", which are seen during the hot hours of the day, as they líe resting on top of Fig trees. AIso, see herds of buffaloes, elephants, topi antelopes
After lunch, drive to the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Bwindi is the natural habitat for the endangered
mountain gorillas and it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its biodiversity. You will reach an altitude of up to 2300 m above sea level!
The choice of the area of the gorilla safari depends on the availability and allocation of the permits
for this activity. Today's transfer is variable according to the location of the gorilla permíts and road conditions.
Encounter Gorillas in the Bwindi Forest
Early in the morning, enter the tropical rainforest of Bwindi for your gorilla safari. The activity starts at 8 am and you will follow the ranger guides in a group of maximum 8 people as you search for the habituated family of mountain gorillas.
The Bwindi Forest in Uganda has a population of about 370 gorillas, which is half the world population according to 2007 gorilla population surveys. It is not predictable the time you will spend to encounter the gorillas. You have one hour for observing the
primates and their behaviors while taking photographs.
Make sure you take a packed lunch and water with you. In the evening, proceed to Lake Bunyonyi, boasting wonderful scenery. Have dinner there and stay overnight.
Return to Entebbe and Fly to Nairobi
After breakfast, return to Entebbe. Have lunch en route.
Take an evening flight from Entebbe to Nairobi. Stay in Nairobi in a bed and breakfast.
Go on a Full-Day Game Drive in the Maasai Mara
Get ready for an early morning pick up, then drive to the Maasai Mara National Reserve for two full days in the reserve, benefiting from a flexible schedule and unlimited mileage. After breakfast, have a full-day game drive with packed lunch provided.
The reserve is well known for its black-manned lion, as well as its abundant resident wildlife. It's one of the few places where it's possible to see the Big Five during a morning game drive. Many of the cheetahs are so tame they seek shelter from the hot sun under one's vehicle and several even climb onto the roof to get a better view of prospective prey.
For the bird enthusiasts, almost 500 species have been recorded, among these 16 species of eagle, plus many hawks and falcons, 6 species of vultures, 8 species of storks, 4 of bustard (including the Kori bustard, the world's heaviest flying bird), and 9 species of sunbirds.
