Delve Into The Charms Of Istanbul
Delve into the heart of the Old City of Istanbul on this exciting tour of some of the most beautiful landmarks and sites in the area. Begin by touring Sultanahmet Square. Then, explore the thrilling Hippodrome, which used to host chariot races in the days of the Byzantine Empire.
Head over to the awe-inspiring construction of the Blue Mosque. Next, visit another colossal construction: the Hagia Sophia, one of the finest examples of Ottoman architecture.
Continue to the Topkapi Palace, one of the single most popular attractions in the whole of Istanbul. This 15th-century palace was the residence of many of the wealthiest sultans and their respective harems. Round the day off with a visit to one of the largest covered markets in the world, the Grand Bazaar and its more than 4,000 shops; a true Istanbul experience.
Embark On A Scenic Bosphorus Cruise
Begin the day with a brief visit to the 17th-century Spice Bazaar, one of Istanbul’s most colorful. Then, make your way to an unforgettable cruise along the Bosphorus, the majestic strait that runs through Istanbul, linking Europe and Asia.
View the dramatic sights lining the Bosphorus’ wooded shores: mosques, a bridge that for a time was the world’s longest and Rumeli Hisari, a massive fortress. Also noteworthy on this tour are the 19th-century mansions of the Ottoman elite and the Sultans’ fanciful gingerbread palaces and hunting lodges.
Drive across the first Bosphorus Bridge, which for a time was the world’s longest suspension bridge, and head for the summit of Çamlica Hill, which offers panoramic views of Istanbul, the Sea of Marmara and the Princes’ Islands.
Tour The Idyllic Princes' Islands
The car-free Princes' Islands are only a short ferry ride from Istanbul and provide a welcome break from the city's heat and bustle. The morning begins when you set out to the ferry terminal for a cruise on the Sea of Marmara heading for Büyükada, the largest of the nine islands making up the archipelago.
On the way, you'll be able to enjoy great views of the Topkapi Palace, Leander's Tower and Üsküdar on Istanbul's Asian shore. Büyükada is a popular resort for the locals in the summer, with its white sandy beaches and fragrant pine forests. You'll be enchanted by this small slice of traffic-free paradise.
Tour the island in a horse-drawn carriage before having lunch in one of the island's many pleasant restaurants. Return to Istanbul in the afternoon.

Marvel At Athens
Today you will be totally impressed by the stark contrast between the "old" and the "new" Athens. Visit the Acropolis, the exquisite landmark of Athens exhibiting its glorious history along with the Parthenon, the Propylea, the temple of Athina Nike and the Erechtheion.
Other equally impressive and historic sites are the Roman Temple of Olympic Zeus and the tomb of the Unknown Soldier which is housed along with the Parliament House in Syntagma (Constitution) Square. Marvel at state buildings and neoclassical structures of the 19th century, like the Catholic Cathedral, the University, the Academy of Athens, the National Library.
Last but not least, do not leave Athens without visiting one of the most exceptional contemporary museums worldwide: the New Acropolis Museum, which fully displays the magnitude and glory of Athens in architecture and cultural style.
Go On An Island Hopping Cruise Around Athens
Go on a one-day cruise in the Saronic Gulf! Begin your adventure at Piraeus Port. Your first port of call will be Hydra, a beautiful small island, yet so great in history that stands out among many others. The architecture of the island with the town of Hydra built in its centre on the imposing rocky slopes has remained intact.
The next island you will visit is Poros, the island of peace, romance, and relaxation. The architecture of Poros is a marvel right before your eyes. The beach houses are mostly neoclassical.
Finally, head to Aegina, where the world famous temple of Aphaia (Athena) is located. When the atmosphere is clear, one can see the Temple of Poseidon at Sounion and the Acropolis of Athens from Aphaia. On the island, there is also the church of Saint Nectarios, a grand Christian Byzantine church, which is one of the largest in the Balkan Peninsula.
Discover The Alluring Ancient Oracle In Delphi
Drive through Levadia and Arachova (famous for its bright multi colored carpets) until you arrive in Delphi.
At the foot of Mount Parnassos, within the angle formed by the twin rocks of the Phaedriades lies the Pan-Hellenic sanctuary of Delphi, which had the most famous oracle of ancient Greece. Delphi was regarded as the centre of the world.
Visit the archaeological site and the museum where one can see among other archeological treasures, the unique bronze statue of the Charioteer dedicated to Apollo by Polyzalos, the tyrant of Gela, in 478 B.C. when he won the chariotrace at the Pythian Games. This incomparable statue is a representative example of the ''severe'' Attic style, certainly the work of a major artist.
