Starting from Kastelli on Crete’s northwest coast, you will make your way around the Gramvoussa peninsula. Once a pirate hideout, Gramvoussa is crowned by a half-ruined Venetian Castle. Today you will be transferred from Heraklion to Elounda. The duration of this trip is approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes.
Sailing Tour to Spinalonga and Kolokitha Islands
This sailing tour combines the stunning natural beauty of the Greek Mediterranean islands with their intriguing and occasionally dark history. Set sail from Elounda and head to Spinalonga, often called the “island of tears” due to its past as a leper colony. In a guided tour you will learn more about the harrowing history. Afterwards, you can explore the shops, the hospital and graveyard before sailing to Kolokitha Island.
