Encounter Stunning Seville
Your first day features a guided tour of one of Spain's most beautiful cities, Seville.
Wander the picturesque streets of this Andalusian gem and discover its fascinating history. Your knowledgable guide will recount intriguing tales, including the legend that Hercules founded this dazzling city in southern Spain.
On this exciting tour, you will visit the city's iconic cathedral and its famous bell tower, known as La Giralda. Characterized by Mudejar architecture, this beautiful landmark was once part of a mosque dating from the 12th century.
Later, stroll through the grand rooms and gardens of Alcazar Palace. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, the palace continues to be the official Seville residence of the Spanish royal family and is the oldest royal palace still in use in Europe.
Enjoy the evening at your leisure.
Take a Spanish Cooking Class
The activities today all center around Spanish cuisine.
First on your agenda is a visit to the Triana Food Market, where the Seville locals come to shop for the freshest fruits, vegetables, meats, and cheeses. Here, you will meet some of the local vendors, learn about locally grown products, and shop for ingredients, which will later be used during today's cooking class.
Once we've got everything we need, we'll begin the 3-hour cooking course. With the guidance of a professional chef, you will prepare a 4-course meal, including a cold soup, appetizer, main dish, and dessert.
Both novice and experienced cooks will enjoy the lesson, taught by an English-speaking chef.
In the evening, enjoy dinner and a Flamenco performance by the dancer Sara Vargas.
Visit Colorful Cordoba
This morning you will journey to the city of Cordoba, a 1.5 to 2-hour drive northeast of Seville.
A vibrant mixture of Moorish, Christian, and Jewish cultures make Cordoba one of Europe's most interesting destinations. With an informative tour guide, you will explore this colorful Andalusian city.
Walk along its cobblestone alleyways to a fortified castle, the Alcazar of the Christian Monarchs, a graceful oasis surrounded by magnificent gardens.
Next, explore the city's Jewish quarter, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, before continuing on to the Cathedral of Cordoba. A prime example of Moorish architecture, this grand site features a stunning array of spectacular columns and arches.
At the end of the day, return to your hotel in Seville.
Experience the Magic of Ronda
Today, the final day of your tour, you will see Andalusia's extraordinary landscape as you venture southeast to the city of Ronda. A mountaintop city overlooking a dramatic gorge, Ronda is home to a legendary 18th-century bullring.
Learn about this historic town's history as well as Spain's bullfighting tradition as you follow your guide on a route through this alluring city. Stroll through the Plaza de España, to the Church of St Mary the Elder and the Church of the Holy Spirit before setting off for Plaza de Toros, Spain's oldest bullring.
Ronda's old Moorish center and modern new city are joined by the iconic Puente Nuevo bridge. Take in all the magnificence of this breathtaking destination before returning to Seville in the evening.
