Welcome To Bolivia!
Welcome! Your flight lands at El Alto airport in La Paz, the capital of Bolivia. Your driver will pick you up from the airport and transfer you to your hotel. Take some time to relax, before your guide will take you on a city tour of La Paz.
You'll start in the main square of the city, Plaza San Francisco. From here, walk up Sagarnaga street, where vendors offer beautiful traditional handicrafts. Stop at Mercado de las Brujas - the Witch Market, where coca leaves, miniature figures made out of sugar, and even llama fetuses are sold for ancient ceremonial offerings.
Continue the tour to Plaza Murillo, the political heart of the city. This is where the Presidential Palace, as well as. the National Congress are located.
In the evening, return to your hotel and enjoy a relaxing night.
Travel Into The Jungle!
Wake up to a delicious breakfast at your hotel in La Paz.
Next, your driver will pick you up and transfer you to the airport, where you catch your flight to Rurrenabaque.
Upon arrival, you'll transfer to a boat that will take you along the Tuichi and Beni rivers, until you arrive at the Madidi National Park.
You will check into your eco hotel and enjoy and a rich lunch and a refreshing fruit juice. In the afternoon, go for a hike to explore the vast variety of giant trees and tropical animals. You'll learn about medicinal plants that grow in the area, as well as the local architecture and culture.
Along the way, take the chance to see monkeys, wild boars, many different species of insects!
In the evening, return to the hotel and relax for the night.
Explore The Shores Of The Amazon River
Start your day in the jungle with a hearty breakfast at the lodge.
After, your guide will pick you up and you take a boat to El Farallon Parabas, one of the most beautiful spots in Madidi National Park. Here, you can take a walk to see macaws, parrots, and many other types of animals!
Also, make sure you also enjoy the breathtaking views of the Amazon river that runs by close to here.
After lunch in the jungle, you'll return to Rurrenabaque, where you have the remainder of the day to yourself.
Spot Monkeys & Toucans On A River Tour
Get up early today for an excursion to the Yucuma River. A private 4-wheel-drive vehicle will make the drive through this remote park of the jungle a breeze.
Next, visit a local village on the way and learn about how the locals live in this remote part of the world. In the afternoon, go for a motorboat tour on the Yucuma river, where you have the opportunity to see toucans, parrots, king fishers, and many other types of birds. With a little luck, you might spot freshwater turtles, caimans, and several species of monkeys!
In the afternoon, you'll return to camp where you'll have time to relax.
In the evening, your guide takes you out for a night walk to observe the nocturnal jungle and to see animals that only come out at night.
Go On A Jungle Trek In Search Of Anacondas
In the morning, you'll go on a special excursion with your guide. Head into the jungle in search of the sicuri, a famous 12-meter long anaconda that can age up to 100 years!
During the hike, you might also see capihuaras, the biggest rodent in the world. With a little bit of luck, you might even spot a tapir!
After this exciting adventure, take it slow in the afternoon. Your guide takes you out in a canoe and you get to fish for piranhas.
Upon return to camp, take the opportunity and go for a swim in the Yucuma River, maybe you'll even meet the Bufeos, the pink river dolphins that live in this area!
Fly Back To La Paz
After a delicious breakfast at camp, your driver will take you back to Rurrenabaque. Here, you'll take a domestic flight to La Paz, where your local driver is expecting you at the airport to transfer you to your hotel.
You'll spend the remainder of the day at leisure. Relax at the hotel, or go into town to explore the city further, the choice is yours!

Today, you can enjoy a free day to discover more of La Paz, the world's highest capital city.
You'll take a walk in the beautiful historic center, where you can shop for a few souvenirs to bring back home, or visit one of the city's many excellent museums. Or, how about a more extravagant activity? Take to the skies with the gondolas that traverse the city and allow you a fascinating view of La Paz from a birds-eye perspective.
In the evening, you'll retire to your hotel for a relaxing last night in Bolivia.
