Dubai welcomes you! As your flight descends into the desert metropolis of Dubai, get a first glimpse of the wonders that this city has to offer. Your private, English-speaking guide will meet you at the airport and accompany you to your hotel for check-in. Use the remainder of the day to relax at your luxurious hotel or explore the city. How about a delicious dinner at the hotel's fabulous Indian restaurant? You can also make use of the hotel's gym or take a refreshing dip in the outdoor pool.
Take a Stroll through Old Dubai
Wake up and head downstairs to take advantage of the hotel's lavish breakfast buffet. Your guide will meet you at the time you have agreed upon, and together you can head out into the city. Dubai is full of history, culture, and tradition, and today it is up to you to discover this. Walk with your guide down to the port, which is surrounded by traditional markets. Wander through the gold and spice bazars, called "souqs". After grabbing lunch (not included), head with your guide to the Al Fahidi Fort, the oldest preserved building in Dubai which houses the Dubai Museum. Take a stroll through the Al Fahidi district, home to the city's wealthy pearl merchants. For dinner, head to the classy Bateaux Dubai, a floating restaurant that lets you enjoy the panoramic views of Dubai to live entertainment while you dine on gourmet cuisine.
See Dubai from a Bird's Eye View
Prepare yourself for an exciting day filled with the highlights of Dubai. Start exploring Palm Jumeirah via monorail train, and stop for photos at the Dubai Marina, which is famous for the many architectural masterpieces that surround it. Stop at the Mall of the Emirates, where you can watch people enjoy winter activities in "Ski Dubai", a 400-meter long ski slope. Stop for photos at the beautiful Jumeirah Mosque and Zabeel Palace, where the ruler of Dubai sits in residence. Shortly before sunset, head to the largest shopping mall in the middle east, the Dubai Mall, where you will head to the observation deck inside Burj Khalifa on the 124th floor. Watch the magical desert sunset from the tallest building in the world. Afterward, you are free to explore the mall on your own - make sure you don't miss the impressive Dubai Fountains!
Go on a Desert Safari
Wake up to enjoy the wonderful breakfast buffet. The morning is yours to spend as you wish. You can arrange a free shuttle ride to a nearby beach, where you can relax in the sand and enjoy the lazy morning. After lunch, head out for an authentic desert experience. Embark on a desert safari, where you can ride over beautiful rolling sand dunes via a vintage Land Rover. Arrive at a desert camp, where you can enjoy many activities. Witness a falconry demonstration as the sun sets over the golden dunes before trying your hand at riding a camel. Sampe Emirati cuisine, get a henna tattoo, and watch a traditional dance performance. Afterwards, enjoy a luxurious four course meal under the desert stars before returning to your hotel for the night.
Visit the Emirate of Sharjah
Today, take an excursion to the neighboring emirate to the north of Dubai, Sharjah, which was declared the Cultural Capital of the Islamic World in 2014. It is home to over 20 museums, and showcases many breathtakingly beautiful buildings. Visit the city's current project to rebuilt the old town, which recreates the city as it was 300 years ago. Enjoy a very authentic lunch at Al Arsa Souq. Afterward, stop by for a visit to the Central Market. Housed in a building boasting of stunning Persian architecture, you can find anything your heart desires. Admire the wares, from gold and silver jewelry to silk and cashmere scarves, as well as handicraft items, traditional clothing, and carpets. Then, head back to the Dubai Marina, where you will enjoy a sunset cruise. Afterward, choose to savor your dinner at your chosen restaurant at Pier 7 (not included) overlooking the marina.
