Welcome To Sri Lanka!
Welcome to Sri Lanka! After a warm welcome at the Bandaranaike International Airport, you will be driven to Colombo.
Then, go on a sightseeing tour of Colombo. Visit the Gangaramaya Buddhist Temple, The Old Parliament, the floating market at Pettah and Galle Face Green.
Spend the rest of the day relaxing and return to the hotel.
You may opt to enjoy a scrumptious dinner at Gallery Café, which housed the former offices of world-renowned Sri Lankan architect, the late Geoffrey Bawa. The menu features both local and international cuisine and the dessert menu includes over 30 irresistible choices with a focus on chocolate.
Discover The Medieval Capital Of Yapahuwa
Have breakfast at the hotel and set off to Yapahuwa. This was one of the transient medieval capitals of Sri Lanka under the reign of King Buwenekabahu, who had to flee Polonnaruwa once the Dravidians invaded from South India.
Yapahuwa was built at the top of a 90m high rock boulder in the style of the Sigiriya rock fortress and it acted as a palace and military stronghold.

Climb The Sigiriya Rock Fortress
After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, climb the Sigiriya Rock Fortress in the morning. The giant boulder stands majestically among the green canopy of the surrounding forests.
King Kasyapa found refuge on this rock after committing patricide and fleeing from his brother. He converted the rocky boulder into a gallery of paintings and water gardens which to this date astound the engineers of their mechanisms.

Visit the Polonnaruwa Kingdom in the morning.
Polonnaruwa was a majestic city in the 11th century BC, like Anuradhapura.The glories of the past heyday are still visible in the archaeological treasures unearthed here.
From the tall statue assumed to be of the Great King Parakramabahu to the famed Parakrama Samudraya which is as extensive as an ocean, Polonnaruwa has it all in a compact core.
Visit The Majestic Dambulla Rock Cave Temple
Leave for Dambulla in the morning. Visit the Dambulla Rock Cave Temple built by King Walagambahu as a token of gratitude for providing refuge during the years he spent hiding from the Indian invaders.The caves are filled with exquisite statues of Lord Buddha and the walls are covered with paintings.
Afterwards, make your way to Kandy and visit the Matale Spice garden on the way. Witness how spices are grown and processed to be used in traditional cooking and as medicine.
Spend the rest of the day at leisure in your hotel in Kandy. Do not forget to enjoy a relaxing stroll around Kandy lake.
