Welcome To Hanoi!
You'll land at Hanoi, the cultural heart of Vietnam. A personal guide will meet you at the airport with a bouquet of flowers as a welcoming gift.
You will then be driven to a hotel in Hanoi using a private luxury car.
Enjoy the rest of the day exploring the beautiful town. If you are feeling adventurous, the Frenched styled buildings, Old Quarter are at your disposal to explore.
Get an opportunity to traverse the streets full of traditional vendors and artisans and mingle with the people. Spend the night at the hotel in Hanoi.
Excite Your Palate at the Hanoi Street Food Tour
A day dedicated to enjoying the magnificent cuisine of Hanoi. Start your day the local way with Pho and coffee for breakfast.
Do you love local markets? Meet the stall holders and learn about the food and delicacies such as Banh Cuon, Bun cha and see the chefs put their excellent skills into practice.
The walk progresses to explore Hanoi Old Quarter while enjoying the harmonious singing of birds. Past the market and Old Quarter, you will encounter residential lanes to see how the locals live.
After the walk, some snacks will be available at the outdoor barbeque stalls. The sampling of meat, vegetables, and bread will be aplenty.
Also, excite your taste buds with fresh fruit smothered with milk. Finally, conclude the day by relaxing at a café overlooking the Hoan Kiem Lake to enjoy coffee or beer.
Exciting Cultural Experience at Nam Cang & Red Dao Villages
Between 6.30 to 7 am, you will be picked from the Hanoi hotel by Topas mountain Express and taken to Thanh Phu Bridge. You will then be transferred to Nam Cang Village and check into Nam Cang Riverside Lodge and have lunch.
In the afternoon, visit the Red Dao villages and interact with the villagers who are among the most diverse Vietnam ethnic groups. You will also get to see the skills they have perfected in embroidery, making writing paper from rice, and silver jewelry.
A popular village activity which you can partake in is the herbal bath. It's a refreshing bath using herbs handpicked from the jungle. End the day by enjoying dinner at the terrace overlooking the river.
Marvel at the Beauty of the Jungle
Looking forward to exploring the jungle? Start the morning by walking through the jungle at Sapa.
Encounter the locals on your adventure as they carry on with their daily activities. On returning from the jungle, visit local houses of the remotely located Red Dao minorities outside the forest. Take in the breathtaking view of the valley, stream, and hilltops covered with forest.
You will then go back to the lodge where you can take a swim in the river before lunch. At 14.40 you will be transferred to Topas Ecolodge by shuttle bus.
Get comfortable in your bungalow as you enjoy the aerial view of the mountain.
Undertake Enjoyable Activities at Topas Ecolodge
You're free to enjoy the various activities at the Topas Ecolodge. Love cycling? Take a mountain bike from the lodge and explore the surrounding areas. Alternatively, you can take a scheduled shuttle bus to visit Sapa town.
You can also choose to view the peak of Mt.Fansipan, the highest in Indochina, by cable car. Looking to unwind? Visit the lodge's newly opened hilltop spa for treatment!
In the afternoon at 15:00, you will depart to the Hotel in Hanoi using the Topas Mountain Express.
Spectacular Ha Long Bay Cruise
Start your day with a 4-hour drive to Ha Long Bay. It is an awe-inspiring World Heritage site with 1,600 island sand islets that form a sea scape of limestone pillars. Have some coffee upon arrival and board the boat for an overnight trip.
Savor the delicious seafood for lunch and commence the cruise. Visit the Sung Sot Cave, round over Tuan Chau, Dinh Huong, Ga Choi, Dog and Sail Islands. Take a swim and kayak at Titop beach.
Return to the boat and have dinner while watching the beautiful sunset. Take the evening to relax, enjoy local entertainment or watch a Vietnamese film. Finally, spend the night on the junk boat.
Explore the Emerald Green Waters with a Superb Landscape View
If you're an early riser, take in the beautiful morning view of the landscape of the bay while enjoying some tea, coffee, and fresh fruits. See the rocky islands and listen to the sound of the waves, singing birds and chirping cicadas while relaxing on the upper deck.
Take the opportunity to dive or kayak in the emerald green waters. If you prefer staying on the boat, take a nap or enjoy the view of the bay from the deck.
You'll have brunch as the boat makes its way to the port. Then take a flight at Hanoi airport to Hoi An where you will spend the night.
Experience Hoi An by Cooking, Cycling, and Fishing
Start your morning cycling to the village of Tra Que. Familiarize yourself with the ingredients used in the cooking classes. Visit Tra Que Vegetable Village, an area with a variety of local vegetables. Before cooking, learn how to grow the vegetables from a farmer. Embark on cooking some of the local delicacies. Enjoy by feasting on the meal.
Afterwards, leave for Bay Mau nipa palm forest through Bach Dang. At the forest, view the vast forest and the low-roof houses made using nipa palm. Feel the pure air as you row a boat through the canals where you will fish.
Engage the locals by participating in the coracle race, playing traditional games, and visiting villages. The adventure continues as you enjoy seafood on a boat while taking in the view of the harbor in gray dusk.
Conclude the day by cycling back to your hotel where you will be transferred to the airport to catch a flight to Sai Gon.
Discover the Wondrous Mekong Delta on the Mekong River Cruise
The excursion will start at Cai Be where you will view the green paddy fields. From here, you will board a boat to get to the floating market, a sight unique to Mekong.
You'll then use a row boat to glide through the shadow canals to the vast orchard. Taste the many tropical fruits while you people watch.
You'll also have the opportunity to see the making of coconut candy, crispy rice cake, and ceramics. Take in the area by riding a bicycle around. Feeling tired? A hammock is available for you to rest.
Later return to your boat for refreshments as you enjoy the beautiful sunset on the top deck. Finally, have dinner followed by entertainment of your choice.
Try the Foodie Tour and Saigon Nightlife
Wake up to a beautiful morning on the Mekong River and enjoy breakfast of tea and fresh fruits. Cruise along the tributaries using a motorboat to visit the floating market of Cai Rang. Visit a rice husking mill at one of the villages and enjoy the beautiful scenery interacting with the locals.
The next stop is Saigon to rest as you prepare for the Saigon nightlife and the Foodie tour. The Saigon nightlife experience starts on a vintage Vespa scooter to the Vespa-themed café and local restaurants to try out a variety of food and drinks.
The night continues as you zoom past the famous Ho Chi Minh City. Stop off at a Vietnamese-style coffee shop with special live music.
The evening ends at an exciting Rock music bar where the Vietnamese people unwind and present their unique styles. The Foodie tour includes free flowing drinks and all you can eat, making it an unforgettable experience.
The day marks the end of your 11-day adventure.
