Explore Rome and the Vatican City
It’s time to soak in the historic ambience of Rome. First, you will visit the magnificent Vatican City, home to spectacular attractions, and also the residence of the Pope.
Discover the Vatican Museums that contain one of the world’s best art collections including works by Raphael, Michelangelo, and other artists. Admire the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel, remarkable for the masterpiece by Michelangelo. After seeing the former fountain Cortile della Pigna, proceed to the spectacular St Peter’s Basilica, the interiors of which are awe-inspiring.
Later, relax at a restaurant, and enjoy traditional Italian cuisine. Then, you will visit the ancient amphitheater–the Colosseum–where gladiator combats and fights with beasts were watched by kings, noblemen, and the common people. Also explore the ancient structures at the Roman Forum, once a major political and religious center.
Marvel At The Art Of Galleria Borghese
You will see stunning sculptures and works of art at the Galleria Borghese, your destination for today. Housed in the gorgeous Villa Borghese, the art museum is surrounded by extensive gardens.
Take a walk through the beautifully landscaped gardens that contain pathways and ponds. You can then enter the villa/museum where you can see spellbinding marble sculptures by Bernini. This museum contains some of his best works that look very realistic, in which the sculptures almost seem to come alive. Apollo and Daphne, and The Rape of Proserpina are two such sculptures.
Besides this, you can admire the wonderful art of well-known artists and sculptors including Caravaggio, Raphael, Titian, Canova and Rubens.
Take A Train To Splendid Florence
After breakfast, you will take a fast train from Rome Termini Central Railway station to your next stop–Florence in Tuscany.
From the train station in Florence, you will be taken to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Did you know that the historic center of Florence is a UNESCO World Heritage Site? Visit the stunning Florence Cathedral on Piazza del Duomo that has the world’s largest brick-built dome. View the impressive bell tower as well.

Get set for an exclusive culinary experience–a cooking lesson from a chef at her own home followed by lunch! First, your chef-guide will take you to the oldest food market in Florence. Shop for ingredients required from the menu options, and proceed to the chef’s home for the cooking lesson. Menu options include:
A Tuscan lunch – Pappa al pomodoro or panzanella (bread and tomato soup or salad), tagliata di pollo all’aceto balsamico (chicken with balsamic vinegar), a vegetable side dish, panna cotta (dessert) and red wine. Various pastas such as spaghetti, fettuccine and tagliatelle with three sauces, mousse al cioccolato (dessert), and red or rose wine.
An elaborate menu–mezzelune con ricotta e spinaci (pasta, ricotta and spinach), pollo alla cacciatora (chicken hunter-style), cantuccini di prato (Tuscan cookies with almonds or chocolate) and red wine. Buon appetito!

Today, you will journey to another fascinating destination. Travel by a luxury minivan to the railway station in Florence for a train ride to Venice, the city of canals.
After you reach this beautiful city, you will be taken to your hotel.
Go On A Gondola Ride In Venice
Explore St Mark’s Square in Venice where you can discover the marvelous St Mark’s Basilica dating back to the 11th century with its ornate interiors. You can also see the Bell Tower and Clock Tower on the square. Besides this, take a look at the impressive exteriors of the Doge’s Palace, and the Bridge of Sighs.
See the old world charm of Venice by taking a delightful gondola ride along the canals of the city. Take in the beauty of Venice that looks like a wonderful painting with its historical palazzi along the sides of the canals. These palatial structures with varied architectural styles used to be the residences of aristocrats.
On your gondola ride, enjoy a food experience with a stop at a ‘bacaro’ where you will be given a bottle of Prosecco along with cicchetti (Venetian appetizers). Take this on board the gondola and savor them as you see the sights during your ride.
Embark On A Boat Excursion To Murano And Burano
Would you like to go on an island tour in Venice? Well then, get on board a boat for a 4-hour excursion to the islands of Murano and Burano in the Venetian lagoon. Discover the traditions, folklore and manufacturing heritage of Murano.
See the splendid artistic glassworks created by the artisans here, a tradition that dates back to 1291. You will get an opportunity to visit a glass factory to see artisans creating objects from glass.
As you navigate the waters towards Burano, you can see houses of fishermen located in a row painted in different colors. Burano is famous for its hand-made lace. Visit a lace shop to see the fabulous collection of lace and lace products. If you love lace, this is the place to be! Afterward, return to your hotel for some leisure time.
