Upon your arrival at the Jorge Chavez International Airport, you will be picked up by a representative of Golden Peruvian Tours and transferred to your hotel in the tourist district of Miraflores.
Check in and spend the rest of the evening as you please.
Discover the Wonders of Magical Cusco
Head to the airport in time for your domestic flight to Cusco.
Upon your arrival in Cusco, transfer to your hotel and enjoy some free time.
Later, take an exclusive tour of the city that begins with a visit to the San Pedro Market, where you will get know the local products.
Then, continue to the Koricancha Convent, where it is still possible to feel the magic of walls that were once entirely covered with gold.
Continue to the Santo Domingo Church.
After that, we will continue to San Blas, the neighborhood of artisans. Visit its peculiar church and descend down Hatun Rumiyoc Street, stumbling upong the Inca Roca Palace on the way, the Archbishop's Palace today.
You'll have time to admire the world famous Stone of Twelve Angles before continuing on to the Main Square and visit the historical Cathedral.
Trek to Soraypampa Via the Stunning Humantay Lake
After we pick you up at your hotel, we will start our adventure to the Humantay Lake in private transportation to Soraypampa.
Soraypampa is the campsite for the first day of the Salkantay trek.
In Soraypampa we will have a delicious breakfast to start our day well before beginning our trek.
From here, start your trek up to the Humantay Lake admiring the beautiful views, and if the sky is clear enough, you'll even see the impressive apus Salkantay and Humantay.
After some free time, start your descent to Soraypampa, which will be a lot easier than the way up.
In Soraypampa lunch will await you and after some rest you'll return to Cusco.
Tour the Four Ruins Near Cusco
Today you will visit the four ruins near Cusco.
Start with Sacsayhuaman, an Inca fortress with magnificent architecture, located 3 km from Cusco.
Next, head to Oenqo, a ceremonial and ritual center, where sacrifices were made.
Then, visit PucaPucara, more like a Tambo, or a kind of post house than an actual fortress.
Finally, see Tambomachay, a site for ritual bathing. Its use was restricted to the higher nobility, who maybe only used the baths on ceremonial occasions.
Return to the hotel and spend the rest of the afternoon at your leisure.
Hike to the Breathtaking Vinicunca Mountain
Get ready for an early pick up from your hotel to head south through the town of Urco to the Checacupe District and then follow the path to Pitumarca, where you'll have breakfast.
Continue along the road through small villages until you arrive at the community of Hanchipata - Quesiuno, the ideal starting point for the route.
On your hike, you'll see incredible mountains, such as Ausangate, beautiful blue lagoons, and many other natural sites.
The walk to Vinicunca (Rainbow Mountain) will last approximately 3 hours. At this peak, we will savour the view for about an hour taking photos of the beautiful scenery before descending the path and returning to our bus.
Travel back to Pitumarca to have lunch and then make your way to Cusco.
Hike to Inti Punko for Unparalleled Views of Machu Picchu
Transfer to the train station and board the train bound for KM104, located on the Cusco-Macchu Picchu railway.
At this point, we will leave the train and start walking to the city of Macchu Picchu, across the Urubamba River across a bridge that offers a spectacular view of the mountains.
During the trip we will make our first visit to one of the Inca sites known as Cachabamba. Later, our guide will explain part of the story of the Incas. Walk to Winaywayna, another beautiful Inca site.
Later the same day we will continue our walk towards a cloudy forest to the Inti Punko or "Door of the Sun". At this point, you will take in breathtaking views of the city of Macchu Picchu.
Descend towards Macchu Picchu and down to the town of Aguas Calientes, where we will spend the night in a hotel.
Tour Magical Machu Picchu
After breakfast, take the tourist bus to the Sacred City of Macchu Picchu.
This short trip takes only 20 minutes and goes along a rural road, which is very difficult, with many curves along mountain slopes with jungle scenery and amazing views.
Finally, arrive in the Sanctuary of Macchu Picchu, where your guide will offer a walk through the most important points of this beautiful Inca city, visiting the most important parts.
Later the same day passengers will be able to explore the city on their own.
Return to Aguas Calientes in the early afternoon.
Take the train back to Cusco and head to your hotel for the night.
Visit the Impressive Church of San Pedro de Andahuaylillas and Raqchi
Early in the morning, take a bus to the city of Puno.
During this journey we will visit the church of San Pedro de Andahuaylillas, also known as the "Sistine Chapel of the Americas" due to the golden decor in its ceiling.
Stop at the Raqchi archeological site, where you will visit the spectacular sanctuary built by the Inca emperor Pachacutec, which is dedicated to the Incan deity Wiracocha.
The structure has a towering central wall with a stone foundation based on developed Incan architecture.
After lunch, we will make our way to the highest point on the route, the La Raya mountain range.
Soon after, we will reach the archeological ruins of Pukara, which is noted for its pyramid.
Once we arrive in Puno you will be transferred to your hotel.
Discover Imposing Lake Titicaca and Visit the Uros Island
Get ready to sail the waters of massive Lake Titicaca!
Start your excursion to the highest lake in the world early in the morning.
The tour includes a visit to Uros Island, which you can access by comfortable motor boats. Uros is part of the Aymara ethnic family of islands that live on artificial islands made of floating reeds, "totora", a plant that thrives in the region.
From here, you can reach the hills of Taquile Island. Gifted with several hills and harboring archaeological sites, the island's main activity is the production of textiles representing scenes of everyday life.
Have lunch at a nearby local restaurant.
