Grab your bags and meet your chauffeur who will immediately drive you to the city of Colombo for a tour that includes a visit to the amazing Gangaramaya Buddhist Temple where you'll get your first taste of Sri Lankan culture!
Have you ever been on a floating market? Today, you will witness the Colombo community interaction with the markets, as people wheel and deal their exotic wares.

Enter The Capital Of Medieval King Buwenekabahu
After a delicious breakfast, we will head over to Yapahuwa, the ancient Medieval capital under the reign of King Buwenekabahu.
This amazing Sigiriya rock fortress was a palace, a military stronghold, and built upon a 90-meter rock!
You will be simultaneously amazed at the history and the architecture of these ancient people.
Explore The First Sri Lankan Capital
Begin your day departing for Anuradhapura, the first capital of Sri Lanka, filled with ruins from the golden days of the past. You'll notice that Religious dagobas, temples and the many tanks built under the supervision of the reigning king are abundant.
Next, visit the Sacred Bo tree which is considered as the oldest tree in South East Asia and has a history of over 2500 years!
You'll continue to Mihintale, where you'll climb the Mihintale Rock where Buddhism was introduced to King Devanampiyatiss and then the whole country. You'll also discover the caves where Mahinda Thero and his followers meditated and preached.
After a day of exploring, you'll return to your comfortable hotel in the Cultural Triangle for overnight stay
Climb The Sigiriya Rock Fortress
After breakfast at your hotel, you will climb the giant bolder fortress, Sigiriya Rock! Be sure to bring your camera because, from this point of view, you will see the majestic green canopy of the surrounding forest.
At this fortress, you will also learn all about the history of King Kasyapa, which includes murder, betrayal, and revenge!
Next, witness the beauty of the old gallery of paintings and the water gardens created by King Kasyapa, engineered with technology that still amazes many today.
Discover The Dambulla Rock Cave Temple
Today you'll begin your morning in Dambulla, where you will encounter another King's temple, King Walagambahu.
King Walagambahu built an amazing temple thanking the people for hiding him from Indian invaders. Today, you'll get the chance to see his amazing temple that is filled with exquisite statues of Lord Buddha. As you explore the temple, you will be amazed at the walls that are covered in detailed paintings.
Next, visit the Matale Spice Garden, where you will learn first hand how spices are grown. You might even become a medicine man or woman since you will also learn how these spices are used in ancient medicinal techniques to heal.
Afterward, you'll return back to your hotel for a much-needed rest!
Exploration In The Peradeniya Royal Botanical Gardens
If you fancy exotic, beautiful plants and flowers - then you're in for a treat today with a visit to The Peradeniya Royal Botanical Garden!
The garden boasts all sorts of indigenous plant species and the most amazing Orchids. After exploration of this refreshing garden, you'll head to visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic.
You will be amazed at the worshipers light oil lamps and cast amazing light all over the temple grounds. Join the crowd of devotees at the Pooja and light an oil lamp.
After, you'll head to your hotel for a much-deserved rest.
Play With Elephants At Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage
In the morning, depart Kandy to visit the Lankathilake Temple. En Route you'll make a stop at the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage where over 86 elephants are cared for by their human foster parents at the orphanage.
Watch them be fed by their caretakers and join them in their morning ritual of walking down to the river to spend some time bathing and playing with water.
After, you'll continue to the temple of Lankathilake. Did you know the temple is considered as the most magnificent architectural edifice created during the Gampola era?
Your final stop of the day is the Warleigh Church, which boasts to be over 140 years old! After a day of exploring, you'll return to your comfortable hotel.
Optional: Climb the Adam’s Peak where the according to legends the footprint of Lord Buddha is imprinted at the top.
A Hike Along The Tea Trail
The morning is yours to spend at leisure.
In the afternoon, we hope you are ready to embark on a Tea Trail. Take a short hike through the green carpets of tea bushes along the slopes of the hills and join the saree clad ladies plucking the best tea leaves. Follow them to the factory where the all-important conversion from tea leaves to Ceylon Tea happens.
Enjoy a cup of traditional and authentic tea at the hotel exclusively served to you at a complimentary high tea.
Afterwards, you are free to spend the rest of the day as you wish.
Fun In The Sun At The Beach In Galle
Are you ready for some fun in the sun in Galle?!
Today, you'll have the opportunity to explore the city of Galle, filled with remains from when the Dutch colonized Sri Lanka. The well-preserved fort on this coast is one of the UNESCO World Heritage sites in Asia!
Afterwards, you will appreciate the magical sunset on the beach, as you relax in the warm sun and feel the water touch your toes.
After breakfast, you'll have the day to spend as you desire. At the appropriate time, you will be taken to the airport to return home or to continue your travels.
