Go Trekking In The Sinharaja Rainforest
Get set to explore a beautiful rainforest today. After breakfast, your vehicle will take you to the Sinharaja Forest. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, the biodiversity of the rainforest makes it a wonderful destination.
It is home to several endemic species of flora and fauna. Amphibians, reptiles, mammals as well as several bird species can be found here. In the afternoon, you can go for a short trek along the forest trail that includes places with shallow freshwater streams.

Admire Nature At Udawalawe National Park

Explore The Highlands
Travel to the central highlands in the morning and visit Lipton’s Seat. It is a vantage point from where you can see the extensive emerald green hills and tea estates of the area.
Sir Thomas Lipton, the man behind the famous Lipton Tea, and pioneer of tea making in Sri Lanka used this point as a lookout to survey the beautiful tea estates. Next, visit the Adisham Bungalow located amidst picture perfect surroundings with hilltops covered in mist.
Once a country home to the elite British aristocrats and governors, today the bungalow with its wonderful Jacobean architecture is a monastery for Benedictine monks.

Today, you will visit a tea plantation and see the process of making the delicious drink that many of us enjoy. Ceylon tea is famous all over the world for its wonderful taste and aroma.
At the plantation, you can see busy women in colorful saris picking tea leaves. These leaves are then brought into the tea factory for the all-important transformation from leaf to tea!

Pay Homage At The Temple Of The Tooth Relic
Today, you will journey to the hill capital of Kandy and go for a sightseeing tour of the city. Go on a tuk-tuk ride around the city for an exploration of Sri Lankan cuisine. Enjoy a delightful ride as you relish traditional savouries and dishes around the city.
You will also visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic. It is set amidst a serene locale inside the royal palace complex. Join the devotees as they arrive at the temple for the evening pooja.

Visit The Dambulla Cave Temple And Sigiriya Fortress
Sri Lanka is home to many exquisite UNESCO World Heritage Sites of cultural importance. Witness the splendor of the Dambulla Rock Cave Temple. See five spectacular rock caves with stunning statues of the Buddha, and beautiful paintings on the walls and ceilings.
Afterwards, you can either go on to Kandy or you have the option of visiting the spice garden at Matale. These spices are used in local cuisine as well as for medicinal purposes.
Later, in the evening, set out to see the remarkable Sigiriya Rock Fortress. It was once the site of an ancient kingdom ruled by King Kasyapa. The fort has a dramatic presence as it stands high amidst the plains. It has an entranceway that has mammoth lion’s paws carved on the rock as well as beautiful frescoes on the walls. What makes it even better are the gorgeous sunset views from the top of the flat summit.
Admire Glorious Anuradhapura
You can see dagobas, monastic buildings, and several tanks which were built during that period. A popular attraction here is a Bo-Tree that was planted several centuries ago. The tree is a sacred relic for the Buddhists. It is considered the oldest tree in South East Asia with a history of over 2500 years!
After seeing this ancient tree, make your way to Mihintale Rock. It is said to be the meeting point where King Devanampiyatissa met monk Mahinda (Mahendra) who introduced the king to Buddhism. The meeting marked the arrival of Buddhism in Sri Lanka. You can go on an exploration of the caves in which Mahinda and his followers meditated during their visit.
Tour Majestic Colombo
Get ready to discover another marvelous site after you have your breakfast. Built on the top of a 90 m high boulder, Yapahuwa was one of the transient medieval capitals of Sri Lanka. It was a fortress and a military stronghold during that period.
The spectacular ruins at the site speak of the glory of the days gone by. A series of magnificent ornamental stone steps lead you to the top of the Sigiriya-style rock. Statues, rock carvings, a temple, and paintings dot the site. Admire the architecture of the structures, and enjoy the splendid panoramic views from the top.
