Welcome to Spain!
Welcome to the capital of Spain, Madrid! Your driver will greet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel in the city center.
This first day is free for you to explore the beautiful city at your own pace.
Discover Historic Madrid
Accompanied by your private guide, you will stroll through the oldest districts of the city, discovering the legacy of centuries of history. Start at the 10th century Arab wall and pass by the monuments bequeathed by the Austrian and Bourbon dynasties. You will see former hospitals, palaces, theaters, narrow medieval streets, and traditional shops.
Continue on to the historic street of Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor, the elegant Plaza de Oriente, the Royal Opera, which recently turned 200-years-old, and Madrid’s Cathedral, La Almudena.
At the Royal Palace, the largest in all of Western Europe, you can admire the official reception rooms, a museum area, the Royal Chapel, the Throne Room, and the private rooms of King Carlos III and Queen Isabel II.
Take a Day Trip to Toledo
Set out on a private excursion to Toledo. Your private guide will help you explore this monumental city, the first capital of the Spanish Empire. Discover the impressive Cathedral, the old Palace of Justice, the Town Hall, the old Jewish quarter, and much more.
Toledo has been a center for steel manufacturing for centuries. The most high-quality swords found anywhere in Europe were created here in the Middle Ages, and you can still observe local craftsmen working the steel into impressive objects by visiting their workshops.
Stroll through Toledo's enchanting streets and take in the stunning views over the Tagus River.
Delve into Barcelona's Food Scene
It's time to head to the sunny coast! After breakfast, you'll catch a high speed train to Barcelona, then be transferred to your new hotel.
After settling in, you will get to know the many flavors of Barcelona on a private guided tapas tour!
Spain has a rich culinary tradition and Catalonia has its own regional delights. During this tour, you can savour its delicious specialities while exploring the city's vibrant local markets and amazing food scene — a gourmand’s paradise.
Discover some of the best bars, restaurants and cafes the city has to offer. Your informative guide will help you select tapas while providing insights into the flavours of wine, the cuisine, and Spanish culture. A selection of three delicious tapas paired with drinks in three different bars is included.
Explore the Beauty of Barcelona
As one of the most dynamic cities on the Mediterranean coast, Barcelona has a lot to offer — and you can discover it all today on a private guided sightseeing tour, which will take you to explore the city and introduce you to its fascinating history and culture.
The tour will begin at Gaudi's Sagrada Familia, a monumental masterpiece of architecture still under construction over 100 years after building commenced. You'll then continue to Paseo de Gracia, an elegant avenue in the heart of Barcelona where you will find Casa Lleó Morera, Casa Amatller, Casa Batlló, and Casa Milá (La Pedrera) — the four jewels of modernist architecture.
On your way to the port, you can admire the Colon Monument or the long beach of Barceloneta. You'll end the tour at the top of Montjuic Hill, with its parks, museums, the 1992 Olympic Ring, and spectacular views of the city.
Learn the Ancient Art of Mosaic
The art of mosaic dates back over 5,000 years and is considered "stone painting for eternity." Breaking ceramics and recomposing the pieces imperfectly, Antoni Gaudì used a mosaic technique, known in Catalan as "trencadís," in a new and masterful way, giving color and pictorial quality to architectural surfaces and facades.
You will have the chance to join a mosaic workshop, where your private teacher will give you a brief explanation about the technique and show you how to create your own piece using the same materials (glass and enameled pottery).
After breakfast, you can enjoy your last hours in Barcelona as you wish, roaming the streets, relaxing at the beach, or shopping, until it’s time for your private transfer to the airport.
Your trip may be over, but the memories you made will last a lifetime. We wish you pleasant travels!
