Say hello to beautiful Madrid! After your arrival at the airport you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel.
Rise and shine! Today you will enjoy a private tour with a guide who will take you through the narrow streets of the Habsburg’s quarter, the oldest part of Madrid. Step into the "old world" glamour of Madrid and discover old palaces and convents which give a clue to how Madrid looked like in the Golden Age of Spain. After a delicious breakfast in the morning it is time for you to travel to Cordoba! You can either take the high speed train which will take you fast and comfortably to Cordoba or you can enjoy a chauffeur-driven Deluxe Car. In the latter case you will have the chance to visit the land of the famous Don Quixote. You will witness the windmills at Consuegra and immerse yourself in the story of Don Quixote!
In the afternoon it is time for you to explore Cordoba where past and modernity blend together. Cordoba was always considered a strategic place because of its rich farming lands and its proximity to the river Guadalquivir. Discover the main sights in Cordoba including the unique Mosque, a symbol of the Islamic culture, the Synagogue and a walk through the flower-lined streets of the Jewish Quarter.
Off to colourful Granada!
Today you will travel to Granada by train. Granada is a city so rich in history, culture and monuments that you will simply be mesmerized by it!
In order to fully explore the city and learn as much as possible about it you will take part in a guided tour. Don't forget to bring your camera with you because there is plenty to capture! Visit the famous Gothic Cathedral where you will find the Royal Chapel with the tomb of King Ferdinand and Queen Isabella, the royal hospital, founded by the Catholic Monarchs in 1504 and the Carthusian monastery, which is an example of a unique Baroque style and offers great paintings and sculptures of the Granada School.
Afterwards, stroll around the streets of the historic neighborhoods such as Albaycin and the old Arab quarter which offers great views. Don't miss to explore the hill of Sacromonte, famous for its gypsy community and flamenco tradition.
