Welcome to Africa! After check-in, you will have time to freshen up before visiting Kirstenbosch. The Botanical Gardens, founded in 1913, lie on an estate that covers 528 hectares and supports a diverse fynbos flora and natural forest.

Also featured is the Peninsula Garden, which contains some of the 2 500 plant species, found on the Cape Peninsula. Afterward, you will depart to the iconic Table Mountain, a must-see in South Africa.

Here, hop on a cable car journey to the top of the mountain from where sweeping views of Cape Town can be enjoyed. This evening you can treat yourself to a fabulous dinner at the Butcher’s Shop & Grill - a 3 Course Meal.

Meet the African Penguins

Today embark on a tour of Cape Point. Enjoy the coastal drive along the Atlantic seaboard past the bikini beaches of Sea Point, Clifton and Camps Bay to Hout Bay, a quaint village and fishing harbour for a cruise to Seal Island.

Proceed to Cape Point or Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve where the Atlantic and the Indian Ocean meet. It is a spectacular view! Enjoy lunch at the Two Oceans Restaurant. (own account). Afterward, drive to Simon’s Town, situated in False Bay and seat of the South African Navy. 

It is also home of Boulder’s Beach where a thriving African Penguin colony can be observed from raised wooden boardwalks. In the afternoon, visit Groot Constantia for wine tasting.

Cape Town  

Explore Cape Town's Sights

Rise and shine! Today you will have the opportunity to explore the spectacular Cape Town. Drive across the city with the Guide pointing out some of the Mother City's tourist attractions such as the Government Ave, the Houses of Parliament, the Green Market Square, District 6, the Malay Quarters, the Company Gardens, The Castle as well as the Slave Lodge. After lunch, visit the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront for shopping or optional activities

After you have explored this wonderful city, take the ferry to Robben Island. Departing from Cape Town’s Victoria & Alfred Waterfront a quick 25-minute ferry ride across Table Bay brings you to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Robben Island, South Africa’s most revered National Monument.

Drive To Hermanus And Enjoy Wine

Today is all about wine! Leave the city behind and drive to Swellendam via Hermanus & the Hemel & Aarde Wine Valley. En-route, stop over at Paul Cluver wines in Grabouw for wine tasting.

Enjoy lunch at Burgundy Restaurant in Hermanus (own account). Afterwards, drive via the picturesque Hemel & Aarde Wine Valley to Caledon and then onto Swellendam. Treat yourself with the best South African wines!

Spend Time In Knysna

This morning, visit the famous Drostdy museum in Swellendam to get to know more of the history of the region. Depart and pass the coastal towns of Mossel Bay and George before we arrive in Knysna in the early afternoon.

Along the South Coast of South Africa lies one of the most beautiful stretches of coastline in the world, home to the Garden Route. A mosaic of ecosystems, it encompasses the world renowned Tsitsikamma and Wilderness sections, the Knysna Lake section, a variety of mountain catchment, Southern Cape indigenous forest and associated Fynbos areas.

These areas resemble a montage of landscapes and seascapes, from ocean to mountain areas, and are renowned for their diverse natural and cultural heritage resources. Later, drive to Boplaas to the tasting room for wine tasting.

Visit The Magical Monkeyland And Birds Of Paradise

After breakfast, leave for Monkeyland and Birds of Eden. In Monkeyland, the emphasis is on searching for the primates and the reward is to see the various species as they are meant to be: free and in a natural habitat.

On the guided safaris you can expect to see a variety of primates, ranging from the Gibbons of Asia to the Lemurs of Madagascar. The knowledgeable rangers will tell you all about these fascinating mammals as you encounter them roaming free in the forest.

Birds of Eden's unique two hectare dome (the World’s largest) spans over a gorge of indigenous forest.The sanctuary has its own mysterious ruin, which incorporates a walk-behind waterfall.

The decision is to develop Birds of Eden stems from the need to create a safe environment in which to release a large collection of free-flight African birds.

Addo National Park  

Explore The Tsitsikamma National Park

This morning visit Tsitsikamma National Park. The Tsitsikamma National Park forms a section of the Garden Route National Park and is situated at the heart of the picturesque tourist region known as the Garden Route, found in the Southern Cape of South Africa.

Tsitsikamma is a Khoisan (early inhabitants of the area) word meaning, “place of much water.” Approximately 30% of the park is covered in fynbos (Cape Floral Kingdom), scattered amongst the forest vegetation, boasting a wide variety of beautiful flowers, including proteas and heath. Many species of forest, fynbos, and seabirds are present.

Afterward, drive to Port Elizabeth (the capital of the Eastern Cape) where you can enjoy lunch at the beachfront at Something Good - Highline. Later make your way to our accommodation near Addo Elephant National Park.

Addo National Park  

Spend A Day In Ado National Park

Rise and shine! Enjoy a full day game drive in the Addo Elephant National Park in the comfort of an air conditioned touring vehicle. (Conservation fees included). Lunch (for own account) can be enjoyed at a rest camp in the Park

Addo Elephant Park, situated in a malaria free area just one hour's drive from the South African coastal city of Port Elizabeth, offers a wide variety of game viewing, outdoor adventure, accommodation and cultural experiences. You will be amazed at the variety of South African Wildlife that can be experienced in one easily accessible destination.

The park, the third largest in South Africa, offers a wide range of outdoor activities, which include horse riding, guided walking, hiking and 4x4 trails and a picnic area for day visitors. Nothing could be better if you are a bush lover.

Travel To Oudtshroon

This morning depart and make your way to Oudtshoorn. Visit the Safari ostrich farm where you will have lunch and enjoy a tour of the ostrich farm. You will certainly be amazed by these strange, but wonderful creatures. Afterwards, drive to Karusa winery where you can taste splendid wines.

You will arrive at your accommodation in the late afternoon. This evening, guests can enjoy a 3-course dinner at Swartberg Country Manor.

Visit The Cango Wildlife Ranch

Rise and shine! Today you will visit Cango Wildlife ranch, a sanctuary to some of the world's most endangered species. You can have lunch at Oude Meul Restaurant.

In the afternoon prepare yourself for a tour of Cango Caves. The Cango Caves is the only show cave in Africa which offers a choice of Heritage (easy) or Adventure Tours. All tours are led by experienced, knowledgeable and accredited Caves Guides who will be happy to answer all of your questions and show you all of the hidden gems of the caves.

All tours are offered in English but Afrikaans, German, French and other language options may be available. The day ends with a splendid Potjiekos dinner at Kobus se Gat restaurant.

Travel Through the Scenic Route 62

This morning, you can visit Calitzdorp and pay a visit to De Krans for wine tasting. 

From here, travel via the scenic Route 62 and enjoy a Deli lunch at Lentelus B&B near Barrydale. Route 62 is an area of magnificent landscapes and towering cliffs, crystal clear streams and an abundance of trees and indigenous flora. Enjoy the breathtaking views!

Spend Time In Lovely Swartland

Today you will explore the Swartland area and pay visits to towns such as Tulbagh, Riebeek Kasteel, and Malmesbury. Here a variety of wine farms can be visited for tastings and cellar tours.

You will also have the opportunity to go to the famous  Vondeling Winery in Voor-Paardeberg for wine tasting. Afterward, make your way to Tulbagh where you can enjoy Lunch at Rijks Country house near Tulbagh. 

In the afternoon, explore the towns of Gouda and Riebeek Kasteel before you head back to Wellington. This evening enjoy a unique Theatre of wine experience with dinner at Val du Charron Wine Estate near Wellington. Open up your senses for a good wine and plenty of fun.

Cape Winelands  

Explore The Cape Winelands!

This morning, after breakfast, make your way to Paarl and then onto the historic town of Franschhoek, founded in 1688 by French immigrants fleeing the Huguenot religious persecution in Europe.

A memorial in the town commemorates the arrival of these early settlers who helped develop the wines sought after by Napoleon, Bismarck and the European Royalty. Pay a visit to the gardens of Babylonstoren before going to La Motte wine estate for wine tasting and lunch.

In the afternoon, you will have plenty of time to explore Franschhoek to see the Huguenots Museum and do some shopping.

Cape Town  

Farewell, Cape Town!

After check out, visit Stellenbosch where you can enjoy some shopping in town this morning.

Wine tasting will again be on your itinerary. You just can't have enough - there are so many fascinating wines in this beautiful country. Today you will visit Vergelegen for wine tasting and lunch. Afterwards, you will be transferred to Cape Town International Airport for your flight home.
