After 10 years as an IT technician, I left to travel and I made a one-year trip in South America. I have settled down in La Paz and now I want to share my passion for travel and for this beautiful country that is Bolivia. Let me know what you are interested in an I am happy to create a unique travel program around your wishes.

Loïc organised a fantastic 4-week tour of Peru and Bolivia for us — one of the best holidays we have ever had. When we were arranging where to go, Loïc gave us excellent suggestions and was happy to modify the places, timing of the itinerary and hotels to suit what we wanted. He responded within hours to most emails, even in evenings and weekends. Rather than having a single guide with us for the whole month, we mostly had different guides and travel arrangements (including one flight and four long bus journeys) for different sections of the tour. However almost everything worked out smoothly with people waiting to meet us off planes and buses and in our hotel lobbies at the correct times for day trips. The Inca ruins in Peru were impressive and we just wish that we had been able to add an extra week there to visit Arequipa and spend extra days in Cusco and the Sacred Valley. However the scenery in the southwestern corner of Bolivia was totally mind-blowing — it is the most amazing landscape you are likely to see anywhere in the world. The rest of what we saw in Bolivia — La Paz, Tupiza, Potosi and Sucre — was also really interesting but make sure you spend enough time in the southwest to see all it has to offer. I have no hesitation in recommending Peru and especially Bolivia as destinations and Loïc to organise your tour there. You won't regret it!

We had a fantastic trip in Bolivia. Loïc knows the country inside out and found ideal hotels for us, which were always clean and in the heart of all the activities. We especially loved our hotel in Sucre which was charming. Our guide was excellent and had a personal relationship with the agency for over a decade. We really felt we were in good hands, which is not a given in Bolivia. Also, the agency spoke a few languages so I was able to do all the planning in my mother tongue (French), which was great.
We had a fabulous trip to Bolivia. Loïc and his team were unbelievably helpful and responsive. One of our party struggled with the altitude (don’t underestimate the impact even with medication) and Loïc re-arranged our schedule to accommodate. The guides are very knowledge, resourceful and flexible and really helped us enjoy this beautiful country.
Loic did an outstanding job, given the parameters of what I asked for. Going to areas of Bolivia that aren't often visited made the planning challenging for him, I'm sure. Our guide, Jose, in Trinidad was fantastic, and I will definitely recommend him to my birding friends. Our driver in and around Santa Cruz, Pepe, was extremely nice, even though he spoke no English. We were not pleased, however, with the Santa Cruz guide. His English was poor, and he seemed unconcerned with the needs of my granddaughter and me. He never asked if we needed anything, even while we were on a 10-hour drive on barely passable roads. She and I got the feeling that he doesn't like his job. The accommodations in Trinidad were not what we expected, but we discovered that our hotel may have been the only one in town. Overall though, everything was good.
Responsive and responsible service. Helped me institute the non-cookie cutter Bolivian trip I wanted. Once in Bolivia, arrangements went like clockwork. Able, friendly guides. Loic checked in twice, during my too brief time in Bolivia, to make sure all was going as I'd hoped.
It was a well planned trip to a host of truly world class destinations. Our guide was great. We had an enjoyable and unforgettable adventure. All arrangements happened just as they should have done, and in a way which inspired confidence that they always would.
Logistics were seamlessly arranged and guides and drivers were very knowledgeable and professional.
Loic is very responsive and helpful, he has provided all the relevent information before the trip and also to my queries. Our trip to Bolivia was perfect, all the arrangements and tour guides are very professionals, especially Wesceslau. However, at Cusco, there were no tour guide or rep, to meet us at the airport. We searched for more than half an hour to look for a rep. to pick us but to no avial. We were panic and went to Tourist Information Counter to seek for help. Luckily, the counter girl was very helpful, she called the travel agent for us and the travel agent finally sent a driver to pick us after around an hour with a replaced tour guide who is not so good. We were not very happy about this portion of our trip and disappointed about the tour guide.
Constance did very fine work for us. She was patient and understanding as she designed and redesigned 10 different versions of a Bolivia itinerary for us. She was quite knowledgeable and willing to offer advice as needed; I recall in particular her correct perspective that a lodging-boat tour in Amazonia would not go well. The hotels she suggested were all very good, especially Casa Patio in Santa Cruz. There were 3 areas that could have been improved. May 1, the workers' day in Bolivia, is an important holiday and should have been planned differently. In general, there were too many activities packed into a day, especially on the Jesuit Missions route. Lastly - and this comment is for Bolivia tourism in general - appropriate tipping guidelines were largely absent; we were never sure if we were being offensive with tips given for various services. Overall, the services of trip.me and the local travel agency were excellent and they are recommended to travelers to Bolivia, especially those who seek a customized excursion
We really enjoyed our trip to Bolivia. The drivers we had were excellent. (We especially liked Liver.) Our guides were very knowledgeable and friendly and we liked them all. However, 2 of our guides really did not speak English quite well enough to give us all the information they knew. They weren't always able to fully understand our questions. (Our group is very curious and has a lot of questions, wanting to understand the culture and history.) Our trip included a city tour in Santa Cruz, but it was scheduled on May 1, a holiday, so no museums or churches were open. Instead, our guide took us to a small town nearby, which was interesting and fun. But, I feel that we paid for a tour that didn't happen and the agency should have known not to schedule a tour on May 1. In Sucre, our city tour was to include 4 museums, which is too many for one afternoon. As it turned out, our guide got us to the first museum as it was closing for lunch, so we didn't get to see that one. We opted out of the last museum because we were tired. Again, we paid for museums we didn't see and the agency should not schedule so many for one afternoon. The visit to Tarabuco and Candalaria were great! Chalalan was wonderful, a real highlight of the trip. Nelson, our guide there, was superb! We liked all our hotels, especially Casa Patio in Santa Cruz. We wanted to get specific information from you about tipping practices in Bolivia so that we could tip appropriately, but we never did get that. After sending in this review, I and others in my group were contacted by the company. They arranged for a refund for the May 1 tour that we were unable to have. They have been more than gracious, very responsive and helpful. Overall, the experience with trip.me was very nice and I would recommend them to other travelers.
