Visit the Gorgeous Sacred Valley
This morning you will set off on a tour to visit some of the Sacred Valley's most impressive sites. First, you reach Moray, one of the most unusual Inca sites consisting of circular terraces built upon a natural depression, which seem to have been an agricultural experimental station used to adapt crops to different temperatures.
Then you will continue to Maras, an impressive salt-extraction complex consisting of thousands of small terraces. During the dry season they fill the pans every 3 days with salty water that comes from a natural spring, once the water is evaporated, they collect the salt they've been selling at the markets of the region since before the Inca times.
You will then continue to your hotel in the Sacred Valley where you should be arriving before lunchtime.
Walk With Llamas
Today you will have the opportunity to enjoy a leisurely walk within the picturesque natural surroundings of Urubamba in company of the llamas.
Your mission will be to take them out to their grazing spot while you learn all about this noble and native eco-friendly animal.
After a 40-minute walk uphill at a slow pace, you will reach the perfect spot to enjoy some snacks while you relax and enjoy the panoramic views and the Valley's fresh air. Finally, you will return walking downhill to the starting point.
Head Over to Ollantaytambo
This morning, head out from your hotel to the Ollantaytambo archaeological site, an impressive Inca complex that protected this area from incursions from the Amazon Basin. Ollantaytambo is one of the best examples of Inca architecture.
You will then be able to walk along its cobblestone streets and have a look around the village. Afterwards, you will get ready to experience “Pachamanca," a traditional cooking technique where the food is prepared underground with preheated stones and covered with banana leaves to separate ingredients from the soil.
After lunch, you will walk to the train station to board the afternoon train to Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu Town). Upon arriving to Aguas Calientes, enjoy a reception and get assistance to the hotel.
Marvel at Machu Picchu
Today is the big day! Early in the morning, you will take a 20-minutes bus up the steep zigzagging road to Machu Picchu Citadel, located on an impressive mountain setting.
Once here, together with your private guide, you will prepare to explore just about every corner of the famous citadel.
After visiting Machu Picchu, you will have some free time in Aguas Calientes before boarding your return train back to Ollantaytambo, from where a private transport will be waiting to take you to your hotel.
Spend a Day in Cusco

You will be heading to the Ica Valley, located 4 hours south of Lima and surrounded by the endless sand dunes of the Ica desert. Ica is well known for its warm and dry climate, which is perfect for growing vines, so, when approaching Ica, you will make a short stop for a guided tour through a 17th century vineyard where our famous Pisco liquor is made. There will be free time for lunch, then you will head to Huacachina, known as the Oasis of the Americas to explore the surrounding desert in powerful sand buggies and maybe try some sandboarding.
