Arrival In Lima: The City Of Kings
Welcome to Lima!
Your driver will pick you up at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. You will be given the necessary documentation and a detailed review of the program.
The rest of the day is free for you to relax or start getting a feel for this captivating country. You will spend the night in Lima.
Take A Stroll Around Arequipa: The White City
You will begin your journey with a local flight to one of the most pretty and welcoming cities in Peru: Arequipa. Arequipa is a colonial city with a strong identity surrounded by volcanoes. Many of its houses are built with sillar, a white volcanic stone, for this reason, it is known as the "white city”.
In the morning or afternoon, you will meet your local guide to go for a walk in the downtown area and visit places like the Cathedral with its imposing towers and the Jesuit Church of the Company of Jesus, the Main Square and the gorgeous convent of Santa Catalina.
You may also opt for a visit to the Carmen Alto and Yanahuara viewpoints where you can see the landscape of the valley and the surrounding volcanoes. You will stay at the atmospheric San Agustín Posada Monasterio for the night.
Experience The Andes Mountains At Their Best
On your way to Blanca, you will see the Misti, Aguada which is in the Natural Reserve of Salinas and Cañahuas, Pampa Chachani, and Pichupichu volcanoes. In Pampa Cañahuas you will stop to see vicuñas in the wild.
Your journey will then lead you to Pata Wasi, an Andean community where you will see interesting rock formations against the backdrop of the Misti and Chachani volcanoes.
At Chivay, you will have lunch. Afterwards, you can take a bath at La Calera, a natural hot spring. At the end of the day, you will return to your hotel to take a well-deserved rest.
Catch A Glimpse Of The Condor
After an early breakfast, you will make your way to the "Mirador de la Cruz del Condor” for amazing vistas of the Colca Canyon. Weather permitting, you will catch a glimpse of the legendary flight of the Condor, a sacred bird in Inca culture. Your guide will then take you for a short walk along the edge of the canyon.
Afterwards, you will visit the traditional village of Pinchollo and the Antahuilque viewpoint over the wonderful ancient terraces built by the Collagua people. You will also stop at the Choquetico to see "hanging graves”.
You will also pay a brief visit to the town of Maca and its Yanque church considered the most beautiful church of the valley. Return to Chivay for lunch. After lunch, you will depart for the city of Puno. Upon arrival in the evening, you will be met and transferred directly to spend the night at the hotel in Puno.
Hike To Sacred Lake Titicaca
Today you will visit the legendary Lake Titicaca, the highest navigable lake in the world and a sacred lake for the Inca culture. You will leave Puno city to go to the port of Puno, from where you will start your journey by motorboat through the vastness and beauty of Lake Titicaca. The clear, cold and dry sky will give you some unforgettable sunsets and sunrises.
The first destination will be the Uros floating islands. People inhabiting them create huge floating islands by twisting and shaping totora plants from the lake. You will continue your journey to the Amantani Island, where you will have lunch at a local family home.
In the afternoon you will hike to the top of Llacastiti Mountain to watch the breathtaking sunset. After dinner, you will have a small gathering at a local community where you will spend time dancing and talking with host families.

Learn About The Rich Tradition Of Taquile Island
After an early breakfast, you will set off for the island of Taquile for a boat ride. The gorgeous island of Taquile has approximately 1,200 inhabitants and a rich textile tradition.
You will arrive to the north pier and walk an hour through beautiful ancient Inca trails and breathtaking landscapes to the village, where you will have lunch.
Later, on the opposite side of the island you will descend 530 steps to the dock. You will return in the same boat towards Puno and stay there overnight.
Go On A Fabulous Day Trip To Cusco
You will head to the bus station early in the morning to catch our bus bound for Cusco. You will go on a guided tour of the museum of Pukara, passing by La Raya (highest path 4,335 mts over sea level), the archaeological complex of Raqchi and the Andahuaylillas temple.
Finally, you will be approaching Cusco, the ancient capital of the Inca Empire and one of the most important cities of the Viceroyalty of Peru. It was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1983.
On your arrival in Cusco (3,399 mts above sea level), you will be picked up from the bus station and taken to your hotel to take a good rest for a wonderful tour tomorrow.
Feel The Heart Of The Ancient Incas In Cusco
Today you will drive to Sacsayhuamán, an imposing Inca building perched on northern heights of the city.
You will visit Puca Pucara, Tambomachay and Q'enko; all these archaeological sites will help us understand the history and worldview of the Incas, as they are related to the cults of the Inca state and to astronomical observation, critical to the development of the agricultural economy in the Andes.
On our way back, you will visit two important landmarks in Cusco: the Cathedral and the Qoricancha Temple of the Sun, which is the true sacred center of the ancient capital of the Incas. Tonight you will stay at your hotel in Cusco. Don't miss the chance to walk around the lively streets at night!
Delve Into The Alluring Sacred Valley
The mountains surrounding the river form a landscape of awe-inspiring rugged beauty dotted with small farmland houses that belong to hundreds of indigenous peasant communities engaged in agriculture and livestock. Once you reach the valley, you can go up to visit the archaeological site of Pisac, offering spectacular views over the valley.
You will then visit the handcraft market. Early in the afternoon, you will visit the beautiful ruins of Ollantaytambo. Walk the streets of the town to have a clear idea about how this military, religious and cultural center was during the Inca Empire.
You will finish the day at Ollantaytambo train station, where you will take the train to Aguas Calientes, where you will spend the night at a hotel.
Get Lost In Magnificent Machu Picchu
Early in the morning, you will take a bus up to the citadel of Machu Picchu where you will begin a guided tour.
You will visit the Main Square, the Circular Tower, the Sacred Sundial, the Royal Quarters, the Temple of the Three Windows and the cemeteries; then you will still have time to explore the archaeological site at your own leisure. You can even walk the last part of the Inca Trail to Intipunku.
You will board the train back to Cusco and will stay in Cusco overnight.

It's time to fly back to Lima. After a smooth flight, you will be taken to your hotel for check-in.
