Today you'll drive into the desert, taking full advantage of your 4x4 vehicle.
Head to the Sesriem region, where you can visit the famous Sossusvlei, one of Namibia’s most spectacular and best-known attractions. It features some of the highest sand dunes in the world and is a perfect location for photographs. Don't miss the star dune, Dune 45, so-called because it lies at the 45th kilometer of the road. Go ahead and climb up the dune and admire the view from the top.

Take a Catamaran Cruise or Go on a Living Desert Tour
Head to the historical German city of Swakopmund today. Once you've reached it, check into your guesthouse and then get ready for an adventure!
You have the option to take a catamaran cruise and explore the coast, or go on a living desert tour. If you think the desert is a barren landscape, you'll be proved wrong as your guide helps you discover the amazing animals that have adapted to life in this harsh atmosphere.
You might see Dancing White Lady Spiders, the Namib Dune Gecko, a legless Lizard (Fitsimmon's Burrowing Skink), Sand Diving Lizards, Sidewinder Snakes, Desert Chameleons, and many more fascinating creatures.

Drive to Etosha National Park. It's time to spot some animals!
After you've arrived, you can take an afternoon game drive, where you'll have the chance to see zebras, lions, rhinos, elephants, giraffes, and antelopes as they gather around the waterholes.

Morning and Afternoon Game Drives in the Park
Wake up for an early breakfast this morning. Today is another day dedicated to wildlife spotting.
You will take morning and afternoon game drives with experienced local guides, giving you the best chance of seeing the animals. Viewing the wildlife at different times of the day offers two distinctive perspectives. You will have the unique opportunity of observing the differences between sunrise and sunset.
Return to Windhoek
Enjoy one final breakfast at the lodge in Etosha National Park this morning. Then, complete your tour of Namibia by driving back to Windhoek. From Etosha National Park, the journey covers approximately 430 km.
Once you've arrived in Windhoek, you can take some time to visit the local craft markets and pick up some unique souvenirs.
