Welcome to the "White City"
Upon arrival at the Mohammed 5 International Airport of Casablanca, you will be welcomed by your driver and transferred to your hotel. After check-in, you'll have your first experience in the white city of Casablanca on an orientation drive.
From Casablanca to the Atlantic Ocean
Today, you will visit the main sights of Casablanca. The magnificent Mosque of Hassan II; This is one of the very few mosques in Morocco open to non-Muslims and women and is a showcase of Moroccan craftsmanship.
After your guided visit to the mosque, you'll explore the Quartier des Habous, a part of the city with interesting markets and very few, if any, tourists.
In the afternoon, you'll drive through enchanting landscapes full of fruit plantations and argan trees towards charming Essaouira.
After your breakfast, you will explore Essaouira on a guided tour with an official tour guide. Spend the morning in the lively Medina, visit spice and jeweler’s markets and the Mellah.
Stroll down to the port and lunch on sardines or other fish of your choice at one of the numerous BBQ stalls by the seaside, or find something suitable at one of the Medina's many little restaurants and cafes.
Marrakech, the red city
In the morning, you may want to explore more of Essaouira or take a swim in the Atlantic Ocean. Referred to as the ‘windy city of Africa’, the beaches of the 18th century French influenced Essaouria, are most popular. The winds make it the ideal place to host windsurfing competitions, and year-round, you can spot people practicing the sport.
Afterward, you'll go on the 170 km long drive to Marrakech. On your way, you will have the chance to see the famous tree-climbing goats on the Argan tree. Reaching Marrakech, you will check into your hotel and relax.
Getting lost in Marrakech's Medina
Today, you will tour the red city on a full-day guided tour with your official local guide. Visit the stunning Majorelle Gardens, owned by the late Yves Saint Laurent and his partner Pierre Berger. Discover the main monuments of the city including the Koutoubia Mosque and the splendid El Bahia Palace.
You might like to have lunch in the Gueliz at Al Fassia, a restaurant run by women and featuring some of the best cuisines in the country. In the afternoon, spend time in the Medina with its various trade quarters.
Stroll through the narrow lanes of the Medina to Djema el Fna square. Take a refreshing mint tea at one of the cafés at the edge of the square and enjoy the view, awaiting the sunset, when the square really comes alive. If you like, you can have dinner with the locals on the square.
Glamorous camping in the desert
After a nice breakfast, you'll drive to the Stone Desert of Agafay, which is 35 kilometers from Marrakech. Enjoy the golden sunset in the vastness of the desert, then spend the night in luxurious Berber tents.
Enjoy a typical Moroccan Tajine dinner and admire the glorious veil of stars scattered across the sky - an unforgettable experience. Sleep in your luxurious tent with its own basic private bathroom and shower with running water.
A day in Marrakech
Enjoy a sumptuous breakfast in your beautiful Riad and continue with a leisure day in Marrakech. Stroll through the narrow meandering roads of the Medina, pick some typical Moroccan souvenirs and drink a freshly pressed orange juice in one of the roadside cafès.
During an optional cooking class, you can learn how to prepare a spicy Tajine, or you can visit a Hammam for a unique bathing experience.
It's time to fly. Right in time for your flight, you will be transferred back to Mohammed 5 International Airport of Casablanca for your departure from Morocco.
