Visit Angkor Thom

After breakfast in the hotel, you will drive to visit the jungle Ta Prohm Temple, embraced by the roots of enormous fig trees and gigantic creepers. The temple of Ta Prohm was once used as a location to film the famous Hollywood film Tomb Raider.

Begin a tour to the antique capital of Angkor Thom, start from the South Gate with its huge statues depicting the churning of the ocean of milk, the Bayon Temple. It is unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avolokitesvara, the Phimeanakas, the Royal Enclosure, the Elephants Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King.

Continue to explore Angkor Wat, the most famous of all the temples on the plain of Angkor. The temple complex covers 81 hectares and is comparable in size to the Imperial Palace in Beijing. Admire the splendid sunset view from Angkor Wat - you will certainly be left speechless!

Day 2

Siem Reap - Tonle Sap Lake  

Off To Tonle Sap Lake

After breakfast, you can drive to Chhong Khneas, the floating village located 10 kilometers south of Siem Reap. Visit the village and take an excursion in a traditional wooden boat on the Tonle Sap Lake, Cambodia’s biggest natural water body and one of the largest in Asia.

The experience is wonderful as you pass by floating village, friendly children in small boats and fishermen. Return to the city and if time permitted, continue your last visit "Les Artisans D`Angkor - ChantiersEcoles". This center works with young artisans; the team creates, produces and markets a unique collection of ornamental sculptures, lacquer, silk weaving and silk paintings.

Explore The Temple Of The Royal City

For early risers, the alms giving ceremony is a good chance to learn about local culture. Then it’s time for a sunrise moment on the Phousi Mountain where you also can have a nice panorama of the city.

Visit the morning market, a perfect place to meet the locals, dine on Lao food and watch the people as they wander. Grab yourself a frosty bevy and a slice of blood sausage and check it out.

Afterwards, head to Kuang SI Falls, a stunning turquoise waterfall. Why don't you take a fresh swim to refresh yourself in one of the many basins? Just relax and enjoy the breathtaking nature around you!

Enjoy a short drive to visit Vat Xieng Thong or Temple of the Royal City. In the afternoon, you will be transferred back to Luang Prabang and visit the Traditional Arts and Ethnology Centre located in a historical building preserved by UNESCO.

Day 5

Luang Prabang - Pak Ou  

Visit The Pak Ou Caves

Today set off on your exploration with a visit to the Royal Palace also known as the National Museum to learn more about the long-lasting history and culture of the region. Afterwards, pay a visit to Wat Mai, a beautiful temple located nearby the Royal Palace and built in the 18th century.

It is the largest and most richly decorated of the temples in Luang Prabang. Afterwards, transfer to the pier and take a long-tailed boat for an upstream cruise. During the cruise you will be treated a stunning of nature along the river.

From the distance, you can see limestone cliffs where the hidden Pak Ou Caves are located. The cave is home to thousands of Buddha statues which make the region a revered one. Take your time to explore numerous images hidden in the cave. These views will undoubtedly astonish you - this cave is unique, so don't forget to take your camera with you!

Day 6

Luang Prabang  

Farewell, Laos!

Rise and shine! Enjoy some free time to wander around immerse yourself into the daily life of Luang Prabang before your transfer to the airport. You will be collected 3 hours prior to your flight and taken to the airport.

Safe travels home, and don't forge that Laos and Cambodia are always ready to welcome you back!
