Welcome to Jordan
Upon disembarking the aircraft, you will go to the immigration area, where you will meet our representative, holding a board-sign with your name. He will lead you through procedures and take you to the transfer-coach, which takes you to your hotel.
Exploring North Jordan
After your breakfast, you will be picked up for a transfer to Umm Qais. After a 2-hour drive, you will arrive at Umm Qais to visit the ruins of the Decapolis city of Gadara, an archeological site in the North of the country.
Your next trip will take you to Jerash where a Lunch at a local restaurant is waiting for you.
Satisfied from a sumptuous meal you'll be transferred to Ajloun, where you will spend time to explore the Ajloun castle.
In the late afternoon, you'll be taken back to your hotel in Amman for overnight.
Amman and Mount Nebo
After check-out of the hotel, you will embark on a short city tour in Amman, visiting the Citadel and other points of interest. Your next stop is Mount Nebo for a visit to the memorial site of Prophet Moses. The mountain is said to be the burial-place of the Prophet.
After a short drive, you'll reach Madaba, home to the famous St. George’s Church. After exploring the interiors of the church, your trip will continue to Karak to take a look at the Salahuddin castle,
On the way to Petra, the jewel of Jordan, you will admire the ruins of Shoback Castle, nestled in a wild and remote landscape.
Right in time for check-in and dinner, you'll arrive in the magical town of Petra.
On a horseback, you will ride about 300 meters till until you reach the beginning of the Siq (not recommended for elderly people), Then walk about 1 km through the narrow, high-walled Siq until the Treasury unfolds in front of your eyes. Take in this stunning view before you proceed to the Nabataean Tombs, the Roman Theater, and the Colonnaded Street.
A late-afternoon transfer takes you to the Dead Sea where you check into your hotel.
Today, you will relax on a free day at the Dead Sea. Swim and float in the salt-rich waters and take a bath in the healing Dead-Sea-mud. You will be surprised how silken and tender your skin feels after that.
Spend the sunset with a sun-downer, watching how the sun will set the glittering surroundings on fire.
A last dip into the Dead Sea
Enjoy the last breakfast in your hotel and indulge in some final floating in the Dead Sea, before your transfer picks you up to take you to the Queen Alia Airport in Amman before heading to Beirut.
Once you arrive in the capital city of Lebanon, you will be driven to your hotel for check-in. Within the city, you will see the first law school in the world dating back to the Phoenician Era. You can also have a photo stop at pigeon rock and walk along the Corniche. Visit the trendy Soilidere area of downtown Beirut and discover Roman ruins, mosques, churches, and the National Parliament. Stroll to the Roman bath complex located just west of Solidere. Walk around “La Place de l’Etoile” and the Clock Tower.
Time to turn in for the night and get a good nights rest for the next day's adventures.
Exploration of Caves, Statues and Ruins
Start your day off with a nice breakfast at the hotel. Then depart for Jelta Grotto for exploring caverns both high and low. Continue on your journey to visit Harissa, “Our Lady of Lebanon”, an immense immaculate statue overlooking the bay of Jounieh. Enjoy the panoramic view at the top of the statue.
Enjoy a free lunch and get ready to explore the next town, Byblos. This is the oldest continuously inhabited town built upon multiple layers of ruins and the place where Phoenician scholars created the world’s first alphabet. Byblos has extensive archaeological ruins which have been designated as a UNESCO World Heritage site. The ruins range from Stone Age huts to a Roman theater to a Persian fortress and an impressive Crusader castle & the Roman amphitheater. Additionally, you can visit St John the Baptist church and explore the old souks (markets) & the medieval ramparts.
Palaces before departure
After indulging in a hearty breakfast, depart for the Chouf area, where you will explore the Beiteddine Palace and gardens. Then take once last stop in Deir el Qamar, famous for its palaces which display the ancient Lebanese style in architecture.
