trip.me is a international travel start up based in Berlin, who is always looking for talented people to join the team. Trip.me is a platform where travellers from all over the world, who are looking for a unique travel experience, can plan, adjust and book their trip together with carefully selected destination agencies worldwide.  Due to the absence of intermediaries trip.me travellers can book cheaper, faster and and more individual. And by doing so strengthen the local economy and community as well.

 

I love to help travellers and local experts to come together. The implementation of new strategies, working together in a nice team and achieving  goals is nice. As Account & Product Manager at trip.me you are creating the connection between travellers and local destination experts. You are responsible for developing a successful relationship with your own accounts, work self-dependent and have the opportunity to contribute to current projects. You are responsible to set your own goals aligned with the company vision and meet them down the line.

 

In your daily work you get to know the ties between and interests of various stakeholders and learn to manage them effectively and efficiently. That means being in direct contact with our local partners all around the world to give them business advice and help them grow to their full potential, and to consult and assist travellers before, during or after their trip.

 

You will be part of a small international team, have the opportunity to bring your own ideas to reality and contribute to making the trip.me way of travel THE way of travel.

  • Managing own portfolio of partners worldwide + optimizing their product and performance
  • Successfully developing country specific product portfolios

  • Understand customer needs with the goal to optimize processes, products and marketing accordingly

Online Marketing Specialist

  • SEA is one of our major acquisition channel, you'll be responsible for our German SEA campaigns

PHP Developer Internship (f/m) 

Do you want to have a steep learning curve? And would you like to really contribute to projects in a professional state-of-the-art environment in the field of individual travel? You’ll support the team of developers in building pretty and intuitive user interfaces, implementing solid backend tools, writing tests for a stable environment, having everything in place for an excellent website performance and much more. You'll work with us in a scrum environment. You will be learning and working in one of Europe’s most fun and creative cities. You bring knowledge and experience in developing with modern PHP frameworks, you have good English skills (no German required) and - most important of all - you are really motivated to learn new things every day!

 

What will you be doing?

  • Implement requirements in the backend system and on the trip.me website
  • Improve performance through intelligent caching, optimization of the database structure, etc.
  • Build tests (unit tests, functional tests, user interface tests) to keep the project easily maintainable
  • Continuously improve technical knowledge and interaction with all other team members
  • Build functional components based on JQuery
  • Translate graphical designs into HTML/CSS
