Cooking Class and Limoncello Tasting
The Amalfi Coast is known for its lemons and the liquor they produce… Limoncello.
Traditionally, limoncello is made from the zest of Femminello St. Teresa lemons, also known as Sorrento or Sfusato lemons. Lemon zest, or peels without the pith, is steeped in rectified spirit until the oil is released. The resulting yellow liquid is then mixed with simple syrup.
Taste the sweet Limoncello and enjoy a cooking class on the farm with an Italian nonna (grandma). Make sure to bring walking shoes, and don’t forget your cameras so that you will have photos of this experience to last a lifetime!
You have eaten and drunk your way through Italy like royalty. You have seen many amazing sights and are ready to go home and show off your pictures to friends and family. This is definitely not a goodbye. We will see you again next year to explore some more!
