Welcome To Costa Rica!
Your Costa Rica trip gets off to a start when you land at the Juan Santamaria International Airport.
Upon your arrival, a representative will hand over a package containing vouchers and trip instructions.
Proceed to your hotel in downtown San Jose and stay there overnight.
Discover Drake Bay In Osa Peninsula
After breakfast, head to the airport to catch your domestic flight to Drake Bay.
On landing, make your way to a motor boat that will take you to your eco lodge located in Drake Bay. An isolated paradise tucked away in the northern part of the Osa Peninsula, Drake Bay is your introduction to a world rich in natural beauty.
It gives you the opportunity to experience life at a leisurely pace and discover the splendid landscapes.
From this destination you can access some wonderful places, and explore jungles, rainforests and beaches.
Hike To Remote Corcovado National Park
Did you know that Corcovado National Park is famous for its impressive biodiversity?
Today, you will go on a morning hike starting with a 25-minute boat ride along the west coast of Osa.
Prepare for a wet landing a few feet from the beach and begin your rainforest excursion. Explore the dense primary rainforest adjacent to San Pedrillo, Corcovado National Park’s northernmost ranger station.
Walk along with your guide as he points out diverse species on a trail that is easy to navigate.
You may spot white-faced capuchin, howler and spider monkeys, white-lipped peccaries, coati, scarlet macaws, other birds and insects.
After lunch, proceed on a hike to a beautiful waterfall. Splash around in the cool water, take photos and relax.
Later, board the boat back to your hotel in Drake Bay.
You might see humpback whales or dolphins breaching and spinning en route!
Snorkel In The Waters Of Isla Del Caño
You will get the chance to see marine life up close on a snorkeling trip to Caño Island Biological Reserve today.
It is an underwater Eden dotted with coral and rock formations filled with schools of vibrant tropical fish. Get on board our Island Hopper with a dive master for breathtaking adventures in the water.
Snorkelers of all ages and experience levels can go on this underwater exploration. Therefore, it is suitable for families as well.
Usually, visibility is 30 to 100 feet or more year-round, and the reefs and rock formations are teeming with exotic sea life. Some of the marine creatures that inhabit the waters of Isla del Caño are various species of colorful fish, turtles, stingrays and white-tip reef sharks. You can enjoy snorkeling here and then make your way back to shore.
Stroll And Shop In San Jose
After breakfast, take a motorboat ride to the local airport, from where you will board a domestic flight back to San Jose.
Upon your arrival you will be transferred to your hotel. If you wish to, you can spend the afternoon and evening exploring the neighborhood or indulging in some shopping.
