Arrive in Shanghai and meet your local guide at the airport for your transfer to the city center.



Visit the Yuyuan Garden, located in the center of the Old City next to the Chenghuangmiao area in Shanghai, considered one of the most lavish Chinese gardens in the region.

Day 1

Tongli Village - Suzhou Master Of Nets Garden - Suzhou Shantang Street  

Tour Romantic Tongli And Suzhou

In the morning, drive to picture-perfect Tongli. It is known for its canal system giving it the nickname of "Venice of the East", where you can either stroll around this old village on foot or take a boat and see it by water. 



Next, head to the Retreat & Reflection Garden, Tuisiyuan in Chinese. It is recognized with other classical gardens in Suzhou as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.



Then, you will drive to Suzhou and visit the Master of Nets Garden, another fine example of Chinese traditional landscaping.



Because China is known for its silk, you will visit one of the local silk factories. Suzhou is the most famous place for silk production.



The silk-making process is truly amazing. A silkworm creates its cocoon out of a single silk thread that is continuous for approximately 3,600 feet.



Late that afternoon, you'll drive back to Shanghai.

Day 2

Shanghai Bund - Shanghai Pudong - Shanghai Museum  

Explore The Exciting Bund Area In Shanghai

Today will be devoted discovering the charms of Shanghai.



Located along the Huangpu River, the Bund shows off Shanghai’s outstanding foreign buildings, most of which were erected before 1937. To the Europeans, the Bund was Shanghai’s answer to Wall Street.



In the 1930s, the string of buildings hosted the city's financial and commercial centers, and the world's greatest banks and trading empires established their base.



Then, you will ride a ferry over the Huangpu River then  tour the Pudong area by foot.



The French Concession area progressively expanded in the late 19th and early 20th centuries and is now considered a very hip area in Shanghai.



You will also the Shanghai Museum, housing Ancient Chinese art, located on the People's Square.You may  also attend an acrobatics show.



At the end of the day, you will transfer to the train station for your overnight train to Luoyang

Day 3

Luoyang - Luoyang Longmen Grottoes - Luoyang Old City  

Visit The Stunning Longmen Grottoes

Arrive in Luoyang in the morning where you will visit the gorgeous Longmen Grottoes.



The Longmen Grottoes, Yungang Caves and Mogao Caves are regarded as the three most famous treasure houses of stone inscriptions in China. Most of them are the works of the Northern Wei Dynasty and the flourishing age of the Tang Dynasty.



Historical information concerning art, music, religion, calligraphy, medicine, costume and architecture are kept in Longmen Grottoes.



In the afternoon, your tour will take you to visit the old city.

Day 4

Luoyang Shaolin Temple - Shaolin Kong Fu Show - Xian  

Make Your Way To The Legendary Shaolin Temple

Today, you will drive to Zhengzhou, where nearby you will find the legendary Shaolin Temple.



Founded in the 5th century, the monastery is famous for its association with Chinese martial arts and particularly with Shaolin Kung Fu. It is the most well-known Mahayana Buddhist monastery in the Western world.



The Shaolin Monastery and its famed Pagoda Forest were inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2010 as part of the "Historic Monuments of Dengfeng." 



You'll see a Kung Fu Show,  which is also referred to by the Mandarin Chinese term Wushu.  A number of different fighting styles have developed over the centuries in China.



After the show, you will transfer to the train station and hop on the express train to Xi’an.



Upon your arrival, meet your local guide, then transfer to your hotel.

Day 5

Xi’An - Xian Terracotta Warriors And Horses - Xian Great Mosque  

See The Impressive Terracotta Army In Xi'an

Created about 2200 years ago, the Terracotta Warriors and Horses were found in 1974 on the east side of the tomb of the First Emperor Qin Shihuang.



It was discovered in the spring of 1974 in the eastern suburbs of Xi'an by a group of farmers who were digging water well.



After visiting the stunning Terracotta Warriors, head back to the city and visit the Great Mosque, one of the oldest, largest and best-preserved Islamic mosques in China



Walk along the Muslim Street, where all the shops and restaurants in the street are operated by Muslims. This colorful street is packed with shops selling a large variety of interesting local delicacies, snacks and souvenirs. 



If you wish you may attend the Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show and Dumpling Banquet.

Day 6

Xi’An Small Wild Goose Pagoda - Xian Shaanxi History Museum - Xian Train Station  

Learn How To Write Chinese Characters

Today, you will continue visiting the highlights of Xi'an.



Begin the day by visiting the Small Wild Goose Pagoda was built in the year 707 A.D during the Tang Dynasty (618-907). It is newer and smaller than the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, hence the name was given to distinguish the two. Unlike the grand Big Wild Goose Pagoda, it is dainty and exquisite in its appearance. It is an important cultural relic and one of the remaining symbols of ancient Chang'an (the name of Xian in the Tang Dynasty).



Then you'll take a Chinese calligraphy lesson and learn how to write Chinese characters.



Later on, head to the Shaanxi History Museum, located to the northwest of the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda. It is one of the first huge state museums with modern facilities in China. The museum houses over 370,000 items.



Finally, transfer to the train station to catch your train to Beijing

Beijing - Beijing Tian’Anmen Square - Beijing Hutongs  

Feel The Greatness Of The Tian'anmen Square And Tour The Hutong District By Rickshaw

Arrive in Beijing, meet your local guide at the airport, and transfer to the city center.



Located at the center of Beijing City, Tian’anmen Square is one of the largest city squares in the world. It was built in 1417 and was the entrance gate to the Forbidden City. Feel the greatness of Tian'anmen and then make your way to the unique hutongs and tour the area by rickshaw:



After, you'll be able to take a nice walk near Shichahai (also called Houhai), where you can also take a rickshaw.



Because of the narrow alleys, rickshaws are the ideal transportation for the discovering the old Beijing.

Day 8

Beijing - Beijing Temple Of Heaven - Beijing Forbidden City  

Visit The Gorgeous Temple Of Heaven And The Glorious Forbidden City

Today, you will continue exploring the exciting Chinese capital.



First, you will head to the Temple of Heaven. It is a complex of Taoist buildings situated in the southeastern part of central Beijing. The complex was visited by the Emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties for annual ceremonies of prayer to Heaven for good harvest.



Next, head to the glorious Forbidden City, called “Gu Gong” in Chinese. For almost five hundred years, it served as the home of emperors and their households, as well as the ceremonial and political center of Chinese government. Since 1925, the Forbidden City has been under the administration of the Palace Museum, whose extensive collection of artwork and artifacts were built upon the imperial collections of the Ming and Qing dynasties.

Day 9

Beijing Mutianyu Great Wall - Beijing Ming Tomb - Beijing Scared Road  

Walk On The Great Wall And The Sacred Way Of A Ming Tomb

No trip to China would be complete  without seeing the Great Wall



We suggest that you go to the Mutianyu Great Wall. 



The Great Wall is one of the greatest wonders of the world built originally to protect the northern borders of the Chinese Empire against invasions by various nomadic groups.



The Mutianyu section is the longest fully restored Great Wall section open to the public. There are fewer tourists and more beautiful views than Badaling.



Next, drive to the Ming Tomb-Zhaoling. The site of the Ming Dynasty Imperial Tombs was carefully chosen according to Feng Shui (geomancy) principles. 



As you walk along the wall, you'll be able to see part of the Ming Tomb Complex, the Sacred Way which consists of 18 pairs of marble figures lined up opposite each other, including twelve pairs of animals, and six pairs of human beings such as generals, and public officials.
