Welcome to Chile!
Your driver will pick you up at the airport when your flight arrives and take you to your hotel.
During this first transfer, an English-speaking guide will accompany you and help familiarize you to the country. You can spend the afternoon at leisure to explore the beautiful capital, Santiago.
Fly to Atacama Desert
In the morning, you will transfer from your hotel to Santiago airport for your domestic flight to Calama.
When you arrive in Calama Airport, you will transfer to San Pedro de Atacama, a small oasis in the middle of the driest desert on Earth.
That afternoon, you'll depart to the north of the Salar de Atacama and the Cejar Lagoon.
You'll be able to take a swim break in the lagoon, where you will surprisingly float thanks to the extreme salt concentration. A memorable moment in the desert!
Then you will continue to Ojos del Salar, another lagoon where you can swim.
Your tour will end at the Laguna Tebenquinche where you'll be able to enjoy the beautiful colors of the Licancabur Volcano while tasting a small appetizer and sipping a famous pisco sour at sunset.
You'll then return to San Pedro de Atacama.
Walk around the Moon Valley
In the morning, you'll depart to the Cordillera de Sal (Salt Mountains) and the Moon Valley for a walk in a magnificent landscape made of sand dunes and sculpted calcareous mountains.
In the morning or in the afternoon, you'll visit the Yerbas Buenas Valley, where the Domeyko Cordillera, the Andes and the Salt Cordillera meet. Here you can visit petroglyphs from different periods.
Then, continue on to the Arco Iris Valley, which boasts multiple colors made of clay and several minerals.
At the end of the day you'll head back to San Pedro de Atacama.
Enjoy Otherwordly Landscape at Piedras Rojas
In the morning your guide will pick you up at your hotel to tour the Atacama Desert for two exceptional days.
You'll first arrive at the Salar de Aguas Calientes and Capur, better known as Piedras Rojas due to the red color of its rocks produced by iron oxidation.
Then, discover the deep blue of the altiplano lagoons of Miscanti and Miñiques.
After a lunch prepared by the team, you can explore the Peine Village, a part of the Inca Trail, its ruins and the Pukará, its defensive fort.
At the end of the day, you'll reach Tilimonte, at 3000 meters, where you will spend your night at a comfort camp.
Swim in the Cochas
After a night under the stars, enjoy breakfast at your campsite.
After breakfast, your guide will take you to the Monturaqui Crater formed 660,000 years ago after a meteorite impact.
Following lunch, you will return to Peine Village. You'll go swimming in the Cochas, stone swimming pools which were originally built to water the oasis.
After your swim, you will return to San Pedro de Atacama that afternoon.
Experience Sunrise at El Tatio Geysers
Your guide will pick you up at dawn so you can watch the sunrise over the geysers of El Tatio, the ideal time of day to watch the fumaroles, those violent jets of burning steam.
While you are watching the sunrise, our team will prepare a buffet breakfast for you to enjoy on site. Afterwards, you can relax in the hot water pools of El Tatio.
Later, you will head towards the bofedal of Rio Putana, a favorite place for the observation of the animals of the Altiplano: the birds, flamingos, vicuñas, to name a few..
Follow the road to the plains of Machuca to discover other beautiful landscapes in the Altiplano and then walk in the area of Guatin to stretch your legs and discover its giant cacti.
You'll return to San Pedro de Atacama in the late morning.
Later in the day, transfer to Calama Airport for your flight to Santiago. Upon your arrival, you'll check into your hotel and relax.
See the Highlights of Santiago
Today, your guide will take you on a half-day visit of Santiago, a uniquely charming city nestled at the foot of the Andes.
Although it has become a modern and active city over the years, some older neighborhoods have preserved their romantic charm and atmosphere.
You'll visit areas like the Plaza de Armas, San Francisco Church, and Bellavista.
Stay in an EcoCamp Superior Dome
Today, you'll take a private transfer from your hotel to Santiago Airport to catch your domestic flight from Santiago to Punta Arenas.
There, a member of the EcoCamp team will be waiting for you at the Punta Arenas Airport to lead you through your first stops in Patagonia.
On the way,you'll stop for lunch in Puerto Natales before you reach Torres del Paine Park and your dome.
With a welcome aperitif your Spanish and English-speaking guides will give you an introduction to the excursion and you will customize it according to your interests and abilities.
You'll enjoy dinner at the EcoCamp in a superior dome including central heating and private bath.
Discover Stunning Torres Del Paine National Park in a Fully Customized Way
You'll begin with a breakfast with travelers who will also be on your excursion of the day. Then you'll make a box lunch from a buffet and inform your guide of your choice for dinner. EcoCamp offers gourmet and traditional cuisine with local products and adapts to all diets and dietary restrictions.
The excursion program varies according to the days of the week but also to the rapidly changing weather conditions in Patagonia, known for having "4 seasons in a day".
Easy activities include hiking or cycling at Laguna Azul or Grey Glacier navigation and walk.
More seasoned hikers may join the trek to the Grey Glacier, or take a boat transfer on Lake Pehoe and do the French Valley trek (W trek).
If you're up to a bigger challenge, you can reach the Mirador las Torres, or do the Mirador Lago Toro Trek (Lazo Weber), or even trek the Cerro Paine!
Enjoy a Leisurely Day in Torres Del Paine National Park
Today your stay at the EcoCamp includes breakfast, box lunch and a trip to the Torres del Paine Park in a small group of your choice.
Enjoy your free time on site to chat with other travelers, and visit EcoCamp's eco-friendly facilities or attend one of the yoga and stretching classes offered in the morning and evening.
Spend one more day in Patagonian Paradise
Today is your last day to enjoy this piece of paradise!
Your stay at the EcoCamp includes breakfast, box lunch and a trip to the Torres del Paine Park in a small group of your choice.
Before your dinner, the EcoCamp team will confirm your transfer for the next day.
Fly to Santiago
After breakfast, with your lunch box in hand, you will depart from your dome and say goodbye to the EcoCamp according to your scheduled transfer.
You'll take a domestic flight from Punta Arenas to Santiago. and stay in a hotel near Santiago Airport for the night.
