You will have plenty of free time to explore the area and discover the contrasts of Romania's capital. The architecture features an eclectic mix of buildings from the communist period and modern style structures. 



Check out what Bucharest boasts as the world’s second biggest building, the Palace of Parliament, built under the communist regime. It is a grandiose building – a symbol of the communist regime in the country.



You also have the chance to visit the Village Museum where you will learn more about the traditional way of life of Romanian peasant farmers. It is an open air museum with around 300 traditional buildings filled with furniture, pottery, and clothing, collected from different regions of the country.

The "house" museum is exhibiting archival materials including war photographs, military equipment, flags and military uniforms, flotsam and jetsam.



You will journey on to Bihac, a city in the north-western part of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
