You’re in Bolivia!
Welcome to Bolivia! Arrive at El Alto International Airport, where you will be greeted by your driver. You will then be transferred to your hotel in La Paz. Spend the evening relaxing in your hotel or take a stroll around the bustling city and get a head-start on your Bolivian adventures!
On the waters of Lake Titicaca
In the morning, depart from your hotel in La Paz via private transport. Travel to the stunning Lake Titicaca, sacred to the Andean people of Bolivia, where you can gaze upon the awe-inspiring mountain landscape of the Cordillera Real that is reflected in its tranquil waters. Arrive in the town of Copacabana, located on the southern bank of the lake, where you can visit some of the most interesting sites, such as the cathedral and the Hill of the Way of the Cross. Afterwards, hop on board a motorboat, which will take you onto the lake itself. Head towards La Isla del Sol, “The Island of the Sun”, where you will be taken to the Fuente del Inca, or “Fountain of the Inca”. From there, climb the steps to the quaint village of Yumani. From here, enjoy the view as you gaze upon the lake and the nearby Island of the Moon.

Explore ancient Inca ruins
Wake up to the sunshine in Yumani. It is time to explore more of the island. Start your trek towards the northern part of the island, where you will discover the remains of the Inca ruins of Chincana. Continue as you get lost in the Labyrinth of Aymara, before heading back to your boat. After lunch, ride back to the town of Copacabana and spend the rest of the evening at your leisure.
Immerse yourself in Bolivian culture
Today, you will travel to the village of Tuni, a small settlement of the Aymara people located in the Cordillera Real. Spend the day discovering the small mountain village, and get to know the life and traditions of the Bolivian people. Learn about the importance of llamas, the education system, as well as beliefs and rituals and the social organization of the Aymara village. Spend the evening relaxing in your hotel or socializing with the locals.
Explore traditional Aymara culture
Today you will have the chance to experience the traditional Aymara culture first-hand. How about going trout fishing in one of the lagoons at the foot of the Condoriri? Learn from a local guide how the Aymara have been fishing for centuries. After this excursion to the waters, you have the opportunity to visit the local school, as well as see the villagers harvest their crops in the fields. Are you hungry? Partake in the preparation of chuño, a freeze-dried potato. The process is completely non-industrial and has been practiced by the Aymara for centuries. Exercise your muscles on a short hike, before it's time to head back to the village for a delicious lunch. In the afternoon, you will travel back to La Paz, where you have the evening to relax.
Get lost in the Salar de Uyuni
Are you ready for a day filled with adventure? Your day starts with a flight from La Paz to Uyuni, where you will explore the largest salt desert in the world, famous Salar de Uyuni. Lean back while you are driven across this unbelievable landscape, as the white ground stretches endlessly into the horizon. After about an hour, you reach the island of Incahuasi. A volcanic island in the salt flat, this is a unique place in the world. Incahuasi is covered with giant cacti, and you also have the chance to see the fossilized remains of some of the first inhabitants of our planet: stromatolites, ancient bacterial colonies. Upon your return to Uyuni, you have the chance to visit the train cemetery, where old train cars and locomotives were left decades ago, but they remain well-preserved by the salt.
A pair of World Heritage Sites
It's time for date with history. Today you will visit not only one, but two UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The first is the city of Potosí, once home to the largest silver mine in the world. Explore the city center with its once-glorious historic buildings, reminiscent of Potosí's former glory. You also have the opportunity of visiting the Santa Teresa convent, home to one of the major exhibitions of religious art in Latin-America. You will then travel on in your private car and enter the Chuquisaca valley, where you will reach the magnificent city of Sucre, the second World Heritage Site on today's itinerary. Before exploring Sucre tomorrow, take the evening to relax and enjoy the comfort of your hotel.
See where history was made in Sucre
Spend the day discovering Sucre, also called the "white city". It is one of the most important places in Bolivian history, as it was the constitutional capital of the country. It is also famous for its beautiful colonial architecture and numerous churches. Your driver will take you to the most important places around the city. Visit the Convento de la Recoleta, a Franciscan monastery built in 1601, as well as the Museum of Indigenous Art. The highlight of the day is the Casa de la Libertad, where the Independence Act was signed in 1825. After this impressive sight, enjoy the beautiful sunset and the view over the city at the terrace of the Monastery of San Felipe Nery.
Discover the highest capital in the world
It's time to return to the capital of Bolivia, La Paz. After your flight and some time to relax, you depart on a day of exploring the city. La Paz is surrounded by the massive peaks of the Andes, From almost any part of the city, you can admire the white summits of the Cordillera Real and the Illimani, the protector of the city. Enjoy a panoramic view of the city from the K’Illi K’Illi mirador. Experience the magic of the Montículo in the bohemian quarter, a classic meeting point for lovers and newlyweds, a perfect place for a romantic picture! Up next is a ride in the new gondolas, where you can enjoy the view of different parts of the city from above. After this, you are driven out to the Moon Valley, where you can enjoy the quietness and walk among lunar-like rock formations. In the afternoon, take a relaxing stroll along the colorful market and reflect on the day.
It has been a wonderful journey, but all good things must come to an end. It is time to say goodbye to Bolivia! Your driver will pick you up at the appropriate time and you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to your next destination. Remember, you’re always welcome back!
